Really good, handmade pasta and the best service. Amideo is an excellent host and we felt really comfortable. We were there 2 evenings in a row. The carbonara is really recommended, as is the house wine. We'll definitely be back

excellent place for a dinner in rome. pizza was amazing and so was the bruschetta me and mom shared. service was even better, very kind and full of compliments and a great atmosphere to eat at!!

At the Hotel where I was stopping, they recommended a Resto, which I went to and they left me at the door, I said I'm going to look for the place, and walking I found LA SCALINATA, from the moment I entered they treated me very well, Amadeus always attended me with a smile, he advised me very well and was always very well disposed since I only speak Spanish, in general all the staff is very friendly and attentive, I recommend this place

27/03/2025: We stumbled into this amazing little gem hidden down a small side street last spring. Had been trying to remember where it was since, finally found it by looking at Google map. Unfussy and amazing food. Sat outside in the beautiful sunshine eating ravioli and amatriciana. It was artichoke season so of course had to have some of that. A true Roman dream. Reason for review is also so I can have a way of remembering where to return to on the next trip.
22/03/2025: Wonderful dishes, typical Roman cuisine. Very nice place and excellent service. Strategic location for a tour in the center of Rome. Highly recommended for everything.
