The best pasta and pizza we have eaten in the 4 days we have been in Rome. We will recommend it for sure. A good farewell. The place is authentic and very quiet.

We are here in November 2024, food was great and the service was fantastic. We weee served by a very friendly older gentleman, sorry we didn’t get his name but he was fantastic. We’re coming back to Rome in January 2025 so will definitely be returning.

This restaurant was a fantastic place for a sit down meal. The server was really nice, and happy to speak english. He was very kind and polite. The food itself was fantastic, and I highly recommend it. The pizza was not pre-cut, which did mean you had to cut it yourself, but it also meant you could cut slices to your liking. The potatoes were beautifully cooked, soft and very tasty. The greek salad was also really nice and a tasty salad. All of the ingredients were good quality and very nice. Overall, it was a great place for a meal and not too expensive.

Great food, fantastic pizza, the best we ate in Rome. Very nice atmosphere with an Italian air and impeccable service with appetite and good mood! The waiter suggested me traditional Italian food saltimbocca which was very tasty!

It was late and we needed a place to eat. The places we were interested in had a long wait so we moved on. We found this restaurant that was mostly empty. The other party there was large and seemed to be having a great time, lots of laughs. Our waiter was very enthusiastic and insisted on giving us limoncello shots. The food was decent. We ordered a spritz and it was a little too sweet for our taste. They actually brought two but only charged for one. It kind of felt like they were just trying to get us drunk, which was a little weird. At the end, the waiter made it clear that he expected a tip and even indicated how much, which was also unusual. Probably a tourist trap but it was a fine meal.

We had lunch at La Scalinata today around 3 p.m., and were very satisfied with the experience.
The waiter, Amadeo, was extremely welcoming and helpful, the atmosphere of the restaurant is very friendly and we have no complaints about the food, which was very good (we had the ravioli with ricotta and spinach in tomato sauce, and ossobuco).
We highly recommend it.
