Everything was perfect: from the appetizers to the dessert, Stefano patiently explained all the choices and possible combinations with a selected variety of wonderful Italian wines. Pavia may not be known as a culinary capital of Italy, but Stefano’s Bistrot feels like a fabulous island of generous treasures where you want to get lost in space and time. We had a fantastic time. Thank you, Stefano, for the passion and love you share for culinary art. I cannot find better words to recommend your bistrot to all tourists and locals in search of a unique experience.

3 of us dined here last night as a treat as we had finished this leg of our Via Francigena hike and what a wonderful experience it was. It was a one man show with the owner being the waiter, wine expert and chef. He took the time to thoroughly explain the varied menu to us and checked for allergies and intolerances. All the food we had was absolutely incredible. I had to restrain myself from licking the plates clean. He also suggested excellent wines for us. He was friendly and nothing was too much trouble. It's a small restaurant so I would definitely recommend booking and getting there early. Hopefully when we return next year to resume the Via we'll be able to dine there again. Thank you so much for such a memorable evening and we loved your dog too.

I was attracted by its excellent reviews, also considering that Italy is a country with a high standard in cuisine. It is a small, cozy place run by a superb chef, Stefano. An ideal place to impress and be impressed. It deserves every one of its five stars.

I colleghi ti fanno un regalo di compleanno e tu scopri un locale semplice negli arredi ma strepitoso nella cucina. Piatti buonissimi freschi belli ed originali nel gusto e nella presentazione! Excellent Experience. We were passing by Pavia, just looking for a casual lunch. But GLASS bistro turned it into an quality event, never to forget. Food, service and atmosphere were exceptional. Highly recommended!

In una piccola via del centro storico di Pavia, si trova questo ristorantino dalla cucina eccezionale. Il proprietario è gentile e attento al dettaglio. Io e la mia amica abbiamo assaggiato la tartare di carne e il tonno, entrmbi molto buoni, ma ció che ci ha sopreso maggiormente sono state le linguine al nero di seppia con gamberi e zucchine. Assolutamente da provare!
