I have known this place for 23 years and even today it remains the best in the most enchanting village of Imperia

We had lunch in the outdoor area overlooking the sea, a fantastic place, very professional service but it's sad to admit that we spent too much compared to what we ate, the quality was excellent but the expense was not worth the effort.

Great fish restaurant in a beautiful quiet location

In a characteristic village of Imperia-Porto Maurizio (Borgo Foce) there is this excellent restaurant on the seashore where I had dinner eating very fresh fish and linguine with mullet bottarga and asparagus really good. The wine list is well stocked. I will return.

One of the best seafood restaurants in Imperia. Outdoor seating on the sea, dishes with attention to detail and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. Excellent value for money.

Every time we want to pamper ourselves or celebrate something important in our lives we come here. Fantastic location, you can eat by the sea in any weather. Always fresh, tasty food and traditional dishes that go hand in hand with innovative experiments by the young Chef Simone (see dessert "like a breakfast in Genoa"). Kind, attentive and helpful staff (our favorite, without taking anything away from the others, is Debora!) Come and try this experience!

I am surprised to read that a restaurant like this only has a 4.2 score. If I am on vacation somewhere, I don't even consider restaurants with such a "low" score, to be honest. But I am from Imperia and I know the fame of the La Ruota restaurant, so an average like that doesn't stop me. Maybe lately, more importance is given to form than substance? Maybe people prefer beautiful dishes to look at according to the canons of well-known television programs rather than high-quality raw materials? Let's be clear: the dishes at La Ruota are not ugly to look at at all. The portions are just right (not microscopic). But they certainly don't follow the modern aesthetics of plating. And that's why it gets 4.2? I don't understand... Coming to my experience on Saturday night, it's not the first time I've had dinner at La Ruota. I had the capponmagro as an appetizer and the octopus roasted as a second course. My companion had the fried food and as an appetizer a salad of fennel, pink grapefruit and if I'm not mistaken, calamari. Everything was delicious, very fresh fish. Our friends were also enthusiastic. All accompanied by a Fiano di Avellino. Impeccable service, not intrusive, placed in the dehor with the sea a step away. Wonderful experience, as always. Thank you, keep it up.

We have been to Ristorante La Ruota many times before. It's a staple in our portfolio of go-to restaurants in Imperia and the surrounding area. We went for a quick pasta dish and the food was excellent, as always. We found the service a little bit awkward this time. The waitress told us exactly which table to use, although all the tables outside were free. She even told us on which side oft the table to sit. Very unusual.

Lieu beau. Très beau cadre( vue extérieure) Risotto excellent. Personnes sympathiques. Nous reviendrons à la belle saison

Ambiente curato, affacciato sul mare, luminoso e accogliente, un ristorante che ha una sua storia, perfettamente legata al contemporaneo. I piatti sono affezionati alla tradizione, ma con uno sguardo costante all’innovazione e alla scelta accurata di materie prime eccellenti. Ci siamo stati per un pranzo di famiglia, e successivamente per una cena di lavoro, tutto sempre ottimo e di buon gusto. Prezzi più che onesti per la qualità proposta. Una conferma!
