Ristorante La Ruota presents itself well: a well-kept location, a not very spacious environment and an average menu, with land-based options. The restaurant is suitable for family dinners but not for small events. That said, the experience was mixed. Some dishes were well executed, such as the appetizers and the pasta, tasty and with fresh ingredients. However, other dishes were not entirely convincing: for example, the second courses arrived lukewarm and with a rather simple presentation, which clashed a bit with the proposed price. The service was also inconsistent: the staff is kind, but a bit distracted. We had to ask for water and bread several times, and the wait between one course and another was above average, even though the restaurant was not full. The bill was a bit high compared to the overall quality of the experience. This is not a failure, but there is certainly room for improvement both in the kitchen and in the organization of the service. In short: a restaurant with good potential, but which should focus more on consistency and customer care to really make a difference.

Ottima scoperta, buon cibo, menu caratteristico del luogo con aggiunta di qualche piatto di mare. Una nota positiva va alla polenta e alla disponibilità e gentilezza della proprietaria, ci ha offerto anche due bottiglie d'acqua da portare in albergo. Prezzi onesti. Da ritornarci per assaggiare altro.

A family-run restaurant where you can eat well at more than acceptable costs on home-made dishes using carefully selected local ingredients. I recommend the polenta with pork ribs because it is made with non-precooked corn flour and really has the taste of the past. The fresh fettuccine with porcini mushrooms is also good and the sciagliatelli with aubergines, cherry tomatoes and provola are excellent. The scottona steak cooked on the grill and the broccoli as a side dish are excellent.

Siamo tornati in questo locale a distanza di due anni e abbiamo trovato come sempre una cucina casareccia e fatta. Lo staff e la proprietaria sono gentili. Prezzo assolutamente congruo alle porzioni. Consigliati gli arrosticini e la polenta.
