La Rosa dei Venti In Monopoli

A truly fantastic experience at La Rosa dei Venti in Monopoli! It's a welcoming place, and you immediately notice the attention to customer service: the owner is smiling and friendly, and the staff is fast and knowledgeable, never keeping you waiting. We really appreciated the approach to traditional seafood dishes. Our dinner was a true journey of flavors, starting with raw seafood, marinated salmon, and fresh octopus salad. The tempura prawns with sweet pepper cream were a surprising combination. We continued with two exceptional first courses: a risotto with scampi, zucchini, and cream, and a delicious tagliolini with prawns, lime, mandarin, and orange with chopped almonds (a perfect balance of flavors!). For the main course, the grilled fish confirmed the high quality of the ingredients. To finish on a high note, a perfectly executed crème brúlée. Highly recommended for the quality of the food and the excellent service!

So the food is good but we waited 40 minutes or more, too slow

Aside from the OWNER, "the complete opposite" of good manners and hospitality (shall we avoid adjectives?) At least the two young and pretty "waitresses" rewarded us with smiles and gestures, thankfully😜 Outside, a nice, pleasant breeze brightens up the evening for the food. It could always be better, considering that if you add sweets and liqueurs: the bill is exorbitant⚡to get by with "a first course and water" 😝 I wonder what the new restaurant manager will be like..!? 🎗🎀🎈

Quiet place, good food at fair prices

A pleasant lunch break. I tried the seafood trio as an appetizer and the linguine with scampi, citrus pesto, and chopped almonds, along with some shrimp. Fair prices and good food. It's a bit outside the historic center, but it's just a 15-minute walk away. I think I'll be back.

Linguine al burro. We discovered this restaurant thanks to the fork. Place far from the Movida so on the outskirts and well ventilated. Staff although few, still welcoming and try to do their best. Excellent quantity, shame about the linguine with clams were creamed in butter, reading the other reviews, everyone leaves compliments for the linguine. They probably never ate them. The table next to ours had ordered the same dish and agreed with us that there was butter in the "sauce" which soon solidified. So vote 0. To be reviewed.

Really good pizza, fast service and very kind and helpful staff

Really lovely family restaurant outside the tourist area. Authentic pasta, really liked the orchette and the assassin spaghetti. Pizzas were great. Found out and booked through the fork. Highly recommend if you want a place where locals go.
