A very nice pizzeria with excellent pizzas. The pizza is thin-crust with quality ingredients, very digestible. The staff is very attentive and always available. We had a poodle who was very welcome. Congratulations to everyone!

The atmosphere is simple but welcoming, the food is excellent and plentiful. We ordered the spelt soup twice because it was truly delicious! The main courses with side dishes were also offered several times. We went on a Sunday. The menu was fixed, but with two first courses (spelt soup and homemade tagliatelle with sausage and mushroom ragù), two second courses of roast beef and pork with chips and salad, dessert (we chose caramel panna cotta and jam tart), water, and a quart of wine, we spent 18 euros!

Very nice stone place, in the nature we ate spelt soup tagliatelle with mushrooms, baked leg, roast beef, fried potatoes, salad, dessert and coffee €28. There was only a fixed menu, but everything was delicious, very polite staff, recommended place....

04/06/2025: We just stayed in Lucca for a month and Macon Lescaut was very close to where we stayed. We enjoyed several breakfasts and lunches here and were never disappointed. Everything was always fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. The service was very friendly and it was nice when the server would remember us. It is right in Piazza Cittadella so also great for people watching!

28/07/2025: The restaurant has very good and comfortable decor, but the main issue lies in the service — especially the delays, even when simply asking for the bill! As for the taste and quality, the dough is good because it’s thin, but the dishes we ordered did not live up to the restaurant’s reputation. We tried to request water again, but received no response from any waiter. We also asked for Parmesan cheese, but none was provided. Even now, the bill still hasn’t arrived. It’s all about the service — service, service. My review might go public before I even get the bill.
18/07/2025: Excellent pizza... with a wide and varied selection. Gluten-free options available.
