A really nice quiet place to have lunch. Carbonara (typical Roman) absolutely cannot be missing. But the tiramisu is also delicious. The staff made an excellent impression, always ready to listen, in a polite, kind and never intrusive manner. Top food! Top hygienic environment. Absolutely recommended!

We decided to celebrate a birthday and to say that we had a good time is an understatement. An efficient service and a welcoming environment that puts you at ease. We tried other Roman cuisines in two other cities near Selargius, and we didn't like anything. But here at the Roman tavern in Selargius everything is super good, the fried foods are not greasy, the Ascolana style olives send you into ecstasy, the pasta "la calamarata alla zozzona" is an ecstasy for the palate..... the carbonara what can I say. ....there's nothing for anyone.....the courgette flowers filled with infinite goodness, even the fried cod that's too good, and the chicory that I tried to make at home here, they are really super.......the portions are generous, even too much so..... But it's good company... little by little you eat everything..... giving a 10 as a rating is too low... .. it's a place where a family with friends can enjoy lunch or dinner in peace and at very modest prices. Compliments to the staff and the restaurateur. An invaluable meeting point here in Selargius...

Good quality food for the price. The meat is good, the speed of service needs to be improved. Environment suitable for couples, friends and families. I recommend it.

Starters, good carbonara and cheese, ditto the desserts, homemade.

We went on a Saturday with friends hoping to have a nice evening. The food is very good, both the first courses ordered carbonara and quality cacio pepe and the pinsas. The terrible service, we ate at two different times, the first courses were served immediately and the pinsas after almost 1 hour. Organization to forget. The place is very large and perhaps the kitchen cannot handle all the customers adequately. The waiters are really unprofessional and empathetic. When we ordered desserts they forgot to bring seasonal fruit. Really embarrassing. It's a shame because I ate a truly excellent white pinsa almost 2 hours after my arrival.

We had lunch yesterday with the family, we had the mixed starters (cured meats, tripe, beans) plus classic supplì and with amatriciana, plus 2 tonnarelli carbonara and 2 calamarata all'amatriciana. All very good and very generous portions, very professional and friendly in the dining room. In my opinion, the room was a little too dark, but again, that's my opinion. I recommend it and I would definitely go back to try the other traditional Roman dishes. If I have my say, having the deliveryman pass by with the boxes of vegetables during service among the people who are eating, in my opinion, for many it could not be very positive..

Sono stata qui a pranzo con la mia famiglia e miei suoceri settimana scorsa. C'eravamo già stati prima e si sono riconfermati forse la migliore osteria romana nella zona di Cagliari per quanto riguarda il cibo. Abbiamo preso un antipasto romano con affettati misti, fagioli e cotiche e trippa al sugo, tutto ottimo, e alcuni fritti (supplì classici, mozzarelline e fiori di zucca, anche questi tutti buonissimi). Come primi abbiamo preso la loro carbonara (tra le migliori mai mangiate), una gricia, gnocchetti vongole e broccoletti romani e delle amatriciane (forse il loro piatto meno riuscito, il sugo risultava troppo amarognolo). Siamo passati quindi ai dolci, molto buoni anche quelli. Il problema più grosso è stata la gestione dei tempi sui primi piatti. Ok che gli antipasti erano buoni e abbondanti e qui di per fortuna non si moriva di fame, ma io per dire ho ricevuto la mia gricia quando tutti gli altri avevano già finito i loro primi. Sono arrivate prima le due amatriciane ,poi dopo un bel po' la carbonara, dopo ancora gli gnocchetti e io ho continuato a guardare gli altri mangiare per molto. In un ristorante EN rodato come il loro (e a sala comunque non pienissima) una cosa simile non deve e non può succedere. Sta di fatto che comunque il piatto e arrivato ed era buono e in generale abbiamo mangiato troppo bene per dare meno di 4 stelle.

This spot was recommended by a local and it did not disappoint. We were greeted immediately and seated for lunch. Our simple lunch of bread and pasta was delicious so we decided to make a reservation for dinner a few nights later. We were delighted to find that our dinner experience was just as wonderful. The waiter made sure he understood how we wanted our food to be brought out so that it wouldn’t get cold. All of the staff was very attentive and the food was delicious. We both ordered antipasto, and my husband ordered an amazing Saltimboca, and my bistecca was perfection. I highly recommend this restaurant.
