La Rosa Blu In Bologna

I visited for lunch. It offers a set menu with excellent first and second course selections at a great price. There's a good vegetable buffet. Parking is a bit of a hassle, as you have to find one on the street nearby.

Unfortunately I didn't like the pizza

La Rosa Blu is an exquisite little restaurant, Not to mention Francesco, the owner, who is incredibly kind. I had the pizza with buffalo mozzarella. The whole bites are spectacular on the pizza. It was delicious and beautiful to look at.

Not being local, they recommended this restaurant to us. As for the kindness of the welcome, and the location, I must say very welcoming. The service was super fast and excellent. We're talking about the classic Margherita baby pizza. I didn't eat it, and my friend only a slice. But I have to say, I don't like it; there wasn't much tomato and the mozzarella didn't fill the pizza. Anyway, mine, which I supposedly call the San Daniele, had tomato, mozzarella, arugula, and prosciutto. I don't remember what it's called on the menu. The parmesan shavings were missing, but that's okay. I expect the mozzarella to be melted, not to find it on two mozzarella bites. The beauty of pizza is the stringy mozzarella. I was like eating salad with focaccia. The dough was good and very light. I recommend reviewing the pizzas; the mozzarella needs to be melted. 😉

I'd been there once before, years ago, and it left a wonderful memory. Now that I'm in Bologna for several days, I wanted to return with colleagues, and we went every night we were in Bologna. La Rosa Blu is a simple place, but very well-kept and clean....the service is very friendly, the food is truly good: excellent pizza, very fresh fish, including fried fish, quality meat, and delicious first courses, including lasagna. Prices? Excellent, like the food....for me, a must-try in Bologna.

The atmosphere is unique, welcoming, and clean. We had a whole-wheat pizza, which was very good and well-topped; the menu offers a wide selection. The only downside was the long wait, as the dining room was half empty.

The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, smiling, and very attentive. The atmosphere is welcoming and meticulously maintained, perfect for a dinner with family or friends. Truly excellent value. I'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

I ate pasta alla Norma. It was very delicious, and the portion was really big. I definitely recommend it! 🤗🤗🤗
