The GPS took us to Trattoria La Romana after we'd driven around for a long time without finding an open restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and treated equally well. The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable.

As soon as we arrived, Giulia and Tersillo welcomed us and made us feel at ease right away. We found everything delicious and tasty, from appetizers to dessert. The tagliatelle with venison ragù and the ravioli del plin with their fresh pasta were especially captivating from the first bite! We were also very satisfied with the desserts.
I highly recommend this trattoria. The dining room is quiet, quaint, and elegantly decorated. The staff is very helpful and welcoming, and above all, the food is delicious!

I've been frequenting this trattoria for over eight years, and every time I return to Valtellina, it's a regular and essential stop. An authentic place where you can experience the genuine atmosphere of Valtellina tradition, accompanied by warm hospitality and dishes that never disappoint.
The bresaola and local cured meat appetizers are always a guarantee: fresh, plentiful, and of the highest quality. But the real highlight remains the pizzoccheri, simply the best in Valtellina: flavorful, rich, and cooked according to tradition.
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of returning with a group of biker friends: we were welcomed with the usual enthusiasm by Mr. Cambiaghi, his wife, and the staff, always smiling and ready to make us feel at home.
Highly recommended! A place you'll always want to return to, and a must-try for anyone who loves good food and a genuine welcome.

In July, on a Sunday for lunch, the only place open. I wanted to try the pizzoccheri, which I love so much. However, since I was alone, the Frankenstein-like waiter told me only for two, "We'll do it." Alas, after all the effort I put into getting there, I was forced to eat ravioli. So, you too, always bring someone if you want pizzoccheri. Or order two portions. I don't know if in that case they'd charge you for two covers. That would be the least of it.
