A small, unpretentious place, but warm and welcoming, in a beautiful setting with a truly beautiful upstairs. Popular mainly with university students for aperitivo and after-dinner drinks, it offers a small selection of local dishes, cooked just like at home. Affordable, excellent value. Added bonus: probably the best Roman-style tripe in Padua.

A pleasant, enjoyable place to spend an evening chatting with friends, to hang out and share happy, enjoyable moments. Highly recommended.

Stopped in our first full day in Padua. Service was very friendly and willing to answer questions. We weren't super hungry so we just had salads and a lasagna. Greens were fresh and the basalmic was perfect! The place doesn't look like much from the outside but worth a stop!

I think it's one of the best bars in Padua. Friendly staff, a very relaxed atmosphere, great music, and very fair prices. A good selection of wines and beers, spritzes, and reasonably priced aperitifs. It's one of the few places in Padua that serves a good mezzo e mezzo and interesting cicchetti. The tables outside are small, but it's in a very characteristic part of the city, with the now-abandoned cinema behind it. I've never been there for dinner, but the delicious aromas always waft from the pots and pans on display. They also have a few charming indoor dining rooms.

I come to Padua just to eat cod lasagna!

Yeah it was ok but not 5 stars. Got the pasta with duck ragu but it was pretty dry and not really ragu
