I came to this restaurant for dinner with my boyfriend and was very satisfied. We spent €55 for two starters, one main course, one dessert, and two glasses of wine. The place is very simple, almost like eating at grandma's (which I really appreciated). The staff was really friendly and helpful. The dishes were also very quick. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat out, but doesn't expect a fancy restaurant.

Our dinner was disappointing to be honest - particularly given the rave reviews here.
It became apparent that our pasta, stew and cake had all been warmed in the microwave - (in Italy!). The pace was fast. The wine not very interesting. Three of our five dishes were different than described. And we felt pretty rushed through our courses.
Sorry folks, but we expected better.

We arrived at the Osteria at 7:45 pm with the visit to the Scrovegni Chapel scheduled for 9:00 pm, fearing that we would not be able to eat calmly. Instead, the staff was very kind and very fast, truly impeccable!
We ordered spaghetti with clams, cuttlefish, spaghetti with duck ragù, as well as apple pie and chocolate and pear cake. Everything was really delicious, well-prepared dishes full of flavor.
We managed to arrive on time for the visit, satisfied and happy.
We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

From the outside, the restaurant looks unassuming and easy to miss. But once inside, everything changes. We ordered lunch and were simply blown away. It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a perfectly prepared and well-balanced meal.
The wine, carefully selected by the waiter, matched the food beautifully. The service was outstanding – professional, discreet, and genuinely attentive.
This is not just another tourist spot – it’s a true culinary experience. The restaurant absolutely deserves serious recognition and could easily be in the running for a Michelin star.

Locale consigliato sia per un aperitivo con cicchetti (piano terra) che per una cena (primo piano). Personale gentile e disponibile. Locale carino con un tocco giovanile che si ritrova anche nella proposta dei piatti. Consiglio le melanzane in saor e lo spezzatino di musso.

Non è la prima volta che ci vado, conosco bene la loro offerta sia di cicchetti che di piatti per pranzo/cena. Se volete limitarvi a due cicchetti e un bicchiere di vino potete sedervi anche fuori, sui tavolini di fronte al locale, altrimenti per pranzo o cena al piano di sopra hanno una saletta con un numero do posti limitato e poca confusione. Lo spezzatino di musso e le seppie (o i moscardini) in umido con la polenta sono davvero buoni, prezzo giusto e porzione adeguata; ho assaggiato anche altri piatti ma secondo me quei due sono i migliori. Il vino potete sceglierlo al calice tra quelli sul tabellone o "della casa"; non ho mai preso una bottiglia ma probabilmente c'è anche quella possibilità. Hanno in menu anche un paio di dolci ma non fanno il caffè. In conclusione uno dei mie posti preferiti di Padova.
