I think it's one of the best bars in Padua. Friendly staff, a very relaxed atmosphere, great music, and very fair prices.
A good selection of wines and beers, spritzes, and reasonably priced aperitifs. It's one of the few places in Padua that serves a good mezzo e mezzo and interesting cicchetti.
The tables outside are small, but it's in a very characteristic part of the city, with the now-abandoned cinema behind it.
I've never been there for dinner, but the delicious aromas always waft from the pots and pans on display. They also have a few charming indoor dining rooms.

I came to this restaurant for dinner with my boyfriend and was very satisfied. We spent €55 for two starters, one main course, one dessert, and two glasses of wine. The place is very simple, almost like eating at grandma's (which I really appreciated). The staff was really friendly and helpful. The dishes were also very quick. I recommend it to anyone who wants to eat out, but doesn't expect a fancy restaurant.

Our dinner was disappointing to be honest - particularly given the rave reviews here.
It became apparent that our pasta, stew and cake had all been warmed in the microwave - (in Italy!). The pace was fast. The wine not very interesting. Three of our five dishes were different than described. And we felt pretty rushed through our courses.
Sorry folks, but we expected better.

We arrived at the Osteria at 7:45 pm with the visit to the Scrovegni Chapel scheduled for 9:00 pm, fearing that we would not be able to eat calmly. Instead, the staff was very kind and very fast, truly impeccable!
We ordered spaghetti with clams, cuttlefish, spaghetti with duck ragù, as well as apple pie and chocolate and pear cake. Everything was really delicious, well-prepared dishes full of flavor.
We managed to arrive on time for the visit, satisfied and happy.
We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Locale consigliato sia per un aperitivo con cicchetti (piano terra) che per una cena (primo piano). Personale gentile e disponibile. Locale carino con un tocco giovanile che si ritrova anche nella proposta dei piatti. Consiglio le melanzane in saor e lo spezzatino di musso.

Nuestra elección original era plena, así que esta fue una sorpresa encantadora. Lo habíamos cronometrado en nuestro camino desde el hotel y pensamos que se veía encantador, pero principalmente un bar. Por suerte, nos equivocamos. El comedor en el primer piso era bijou y con carácter con una camarera informada pero no demasiado rondando. Comenzamos con berenjena para compartir y luego disfrutamos de una deliciosa pasta con jabalí ragu antes de terminar con pastel de manzana. El vino era local y profundamente satisfactorio.
