Genuine food, excellent tastes and even grilled meat available. No a touristic restaurant, exactly what we were looking for. Unfortunatelly the food was so tasty, that I didn’t manage to take the picture of full plate 😄

Very good food for little money. We paid EUR 17.50 for 3 courses and a large bottle of water. The surroundings may not be inviting, but the place is very good. You can take away or eat on site. One of the staff speaks English.

Like in old times! Delicious, down-to-earth food at a reasonable price, motivated and friendly staff plus a touch of Sicilian chaos that makes it perfect.

Bar Forte

02/06/2025: It was one of the historic bars in Caltagirone, but like the historic center, it seems to have lost its soul and vitality. Only 4 flavors of granita available and not even that good, enough cream for 2 of the 3 granitas... I have never seen a pastry shop that runs out of cream. Kind and helpful staff
01/06/2025: Excellent rotisserie (the onion was exquisite) and desserts, very kind service. Quite a few tables inside and a few outside (but in full sun at lunchtime).

La Tazza d'Oro

14/06/2025: I recommend the rusticheria or, better, tavola calda. I ate an Oscar-worthy onion. Then in front of the sea... 90s location, Catania sea and good quality takeaway food. Why not?
