If you want to do something different, go eat fish in Pavullo!!! Refined place, with attention to detail. Good fish cuisine, kindness and helpfulness from the waiter.

We book a table for two in this small tavern. When we enter we are amazed by the care of the dining room: a small piece of Puglia in Pavullo. We order the stewed octopus as an appetizer, truly excellent. First we order a calamarata and a spaghetti alla scoglio, all accompanied by a bottle of classic method Oltrepó Pavese. The spaghetti with seafood is not a banal seafood but has a seafood ragù that differentiates it from many others, the calamarata is also excellent. Appropriate bill for how much eaten. Nice discovery in our mountains. Highly recommended!

Piccolo locale in posizione tranquilla e curato nei particolari. È presente all esterno un gazebo per la bella stagione.. Cucina di mare di buona qualità. Nota di merito per i tortelli di pesce. Servizio un po’ lento ma giustificato dalla presenza di una sola ma gentilissima signora.

Nice place to have a lunch or dinner. Everything was tasty and service is quite fast. However, it was quite noisy and no list of wines available. Anyway, we would like to dine there again.

Very nice place, a real wedding favor, in summer you can dine outside in a very welcoming atmosphere. They accept dogs, both inside and outside, convenient parking and excellent dishes

We went for dinner one evening, always a very welcoming and warm place, a little annoying if there are customers with a high tone of voice. We had some very good and appetizing fish balls, fried tuna, grilled and fried. Very good, Alessandro the owner recommended a new bottle of wine which was very good beyond expectations to finish the stratospheric desserts!!! What can I say? I highly recommend it… A+++++

25/07/2025: A well-deserved five stars for Lo Scoglio! Last night, six of us dined, and I can say without hesitation that it was one of the best seafood experiences I've ever had in Modena! The undisputed stars of the evening? Two splendid baked turbot with potatoes, cooked to perfection and filleted tableside by impeccable waiters, who, with professionalism and discretion, added a touch of class to the entire dinner. Attentive but never intrusive service, combined with the highest quality ingredients. A cuisine that truly knows how to showcase fresh seafood. We'll definitely be back, perhaps even to explore the rest of the menu!

Chalet 3.0

01/08/2025: Located in the square, good food and wonderful aperitifs. I recommend it.
21/07/2025: First time at the Chalet, on a summer evening, I was skeptical but I had to change my mind, nice and non-invasive waiter, there were 6 of us all happy with the food, drank 2 bottles of nice cold Lugana, we had a good time, the waiter allowed us to turn down the music and the Italian evening was perfect 🤩👋🎖️
