Traditional Emilian cuisine is showcased to the fullest in this retro-inspired restaurant. The first courses are especially delicious. The price is average for Ferrara restaurants. Highly recommended!

The restaurant is well-maintained, and I'll start by saying the food is acceptable. The problem I encountered was the price point. If you offer a menu at those prices, you have to be able to offer dishes that are worthy of your expectations and make you want to return. Instead, I found the dishes to be good but bland, simply overpriced by €5-10 (especially appetizers and main courses). Add to this the friendly but at times slow service (despite it not being very busy) and a lack of attention to what was missing from the table. At these prices, other restaurants offer much better quality ingredients and a much better menu.

Dinner in a beautiful location. We had mixed boiled meats, Italian-style fried fish, eggplant ravioli, and a sliced steak. Excellent food, good wine selection.

One of the classics in Ferrara. It’s always a very good experience. Their fresh capelacci di zucca were especially yummy today. Also the special artichoke salad was excellent.

Welcoming restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, and a wide selection of wines. I had the tortellini in capon broth, which were superb. The boiled meats were excellent, accompanied by salsa verde, horseradish, and mustard. Good coffee. Recommended.

It's a beautiful and welcoming restaurant with soft lighting and tables in the garden. As soon as you enter, there's a large table full of fabulous appetizers, including a wide variety of vegetables: asparagus, delicious and sweet baked pumpkin, peperonata (a spicy dish of peppers), eggplant mushrooms, zucchini, green beans, boiled potatoes, grilled tomatoes, but also cured meats, frittatina (fried omelette), small soft goat cheeses, giant green Cerignola olives, baby artichokes in oil, anchovies—in short, a veritable feast of delicacies, and you can help yourself, choosing whatever you like.
A lovely way to start! Then there are many typical Ferrarese dishes, such as pumpkin tortellacci with butter and sage, as well as tagliatelle or pappardelle, with chanterelles or porcini mushrooms in season, and eggplant parmigiana—in short, a truly extensive menu.
The desserts are also very good, including the truly exquisite Sicilian cassata.
Extensive wine list.
Friendly and attentive service.
The restaurant is located on a wonderful, quiet cobblestone street lined with flowering trees and beautiful old houses, just steps from the famous Palazzo dei Diamanti, which often hosts prestigious art exhibitions.

Spectacular restaurant with impeccable service and refined food. I definitely recommend the first courses, but this place truly excels in both sweet and savory fried dishes.
