The cappelletti in broth were good, the salama with puree was excellent, I didn't like the aubergine parmigiana, too much oil and too cooked

Traditional Ferrara cuisine and off-menu cuisine with highly sought-after seasonal products in a well-kept and welcoming restaurant located in one of the most beautiful streets in the world! Yesterday km0 white truffle, the last time porcini mushrooms... Add to that the ever-present buffet of appetizers and an excellent cellar, attentive service and a bill without surprises in line with the levels of cuisine, service and location... what more do you want??? I can't wait to return

Personale gentile, preparato ed attento all’intolleranze e allergie alimentari. Ricco menù, adatto ai diversi tipi di palati; ben fornita l’enoteca. Grande flessibilità negli orari Perfetto sia per pranzi e cene di lavoro che per situazioni conviviali

La Provvidenza é un'opera gastronomica della tradizionale cucina ferrarese, un punto di riferimento. L'arte della cucina schietta che piace sempre, il locale è datato ma è piacevole, servizio molto attento.

18/11/2024: The best trattoria in Ferrara. Here I ate the best pumpkin cappellacci in Ferrara (sweet and savory as they should be). They still make "timballo" (baked pasta filled with cappelletti) which you can't find anywhere now. Salamis sauce with mashed potatoes just as it should be. We are all waiting and "hoping" that it reopens unfortunately without the presence of Arnaldo, a true "Oste" like you can no longer find. The other restaurants with the excuse of "gourmet" offer you the usual traditional dishes with sometimes ridiculously small portions. The authenticity and simplicity of the true cuisine that we were still lucky enough to find here has been lost.
15/10/2024: Unfortunately it is closed I don't know for how long... Condolences to the family....
