The overall experience does not differ much from that offered by an average restaurant, although the setting suggests something more refined, with references to a "masterchef" and names highlighted on the menu.
Starter: the carpaccio turned out to be only decent. The ingredients (turnip, beef, walnuts and parmesan flakes) were all on the sweet side, making the dish unbalanced and not very harmonious.
Second course of beef: we had specifically requested a "very rare" cooking, but the meat arrived cooked to medium. The side artichokes, however, were well done.
Risotto: given the great expectations created around this "flagship" dish, we expected an impeccable execution. In reality, the excessive presence of peppercorns covered the delicate flavor of the asparagus. Furthermore, the creaming was not successful: the beans were washed out and poorly blended. The cooking was good, but overall I wouldn't go above a 7.5.
Wine list: interesting and with good proposals. However, the wine was poured directly into our glass without letting us taste it first, a not insignificant detail in a place that aims for a certain level of service.
Sore point: upon request for a bottle of oil at the table, we were brought a product from large retailers. A missed opportunity: it didn't take much to enhance the -discreet- bread and leave a good impression.
Service: finally, the moment of arrival was inelegant: we were asked for the name of the reservation when we were still on the doorstep, with tones audible even from the other tables. We would have appreciated a more discreet welcome.
I don't feel like I can recommend the experience.

We had lunch in this place immersed in a relaxing atmosphere, welcomed by kind and knowledgeable staff. The dishes are of excellent quality and preparation as are the wines offered, the place is clean and well looked after. Highly recommended.

The difference between a place managed by a chef and Evì managed by a Chef! Chef Mirko makes you savor his culinary philosophy by reinterpreting traditional flavors in an innovative and personal way without distorting them. The duck bigoli are fantastic. The place is welcoming and beautiful to look at and the staff is impeccable. The prices are more than honest!

We opted for an aperitif. What can I say? Place well above expectations, really good food and right choice of wines. We also had a small dog who knocked over the water bowl, of course I cleaned it up, but the owners didn't make me worry about what happened at all (which I understand is not a given nowadays).
