There are not enough stars in the Google system for how good this spot is, beautiful food and just perfect paninis for a start before you even get to the platters of amazing cold cuts and cheeses

The meat and cheese boards served at this place are works of art. Great variety, large portions, cheap bottled wines, great atmosphere in the place. There is no waiter service, you have to place your order at the counter and pick it up yourself, there is no coperto charge. I recommend limoncello, the portion is really huge (80-100 ml).

Even though it is a butcher shop, you have some vegetarian options. We had a delicious cheese board.

Would suggest booking as can be very busy. We opted for the sharing board with some extra cheeses. This was more than enough for two people. While you dont get to choose the cuts with this option we felt the meats were a good choice and really as nice side options such as veg, breads and cheese.

Questa sera non avevo voglia di cucinare e così mi sono fermato in questo locale a due passi da casa. Sono entrato con uno zaino e mi hanno subito rivolto la parola in inglese. Poi, guardandomi intorno, mi sono reso conto di essere l'unico bolognese lì e forse anche l'unico italiano. Quindi il locale è prettamente ed esclusivamente per turisti. Nonostante questo, la qualità del cibo offerto è passabile; dato il target della clientela potrebbe essere assai peggiore, dato che i forestieri capiscono ben poco di salumi. Il locale non è caratteristico ma gradevole e sempre affollato.

20/10/2024: On a foggy day as soon as we entered, with the fireplace lit, we felt at home. It was an exceptional lunch with traditional dishes, all very good. I highly recommend the fried ones. We had the chicken, chips and battered vegetables, all fried to perfection and not at all greasy. The potato tortelli with meat sauce were also delicious and the house cake exceptional! Congratulations to the very kind managers! We will definitely be back

05/01/2025: Very nice place a stone's throw from Piazza S. Stefano. I liked everything: the atmosphere, the food, the music in the background, the decor. The guys who served us were super kind and helpful.
