La Preferita In

La Preferita was the closest restaurant to where we were staying so it was the easy choice for the first meal when we arrived in Amalfi. The service and the food brought us back to have our last meal in Amalfi as well. The owner, Nicola, welcomed us in as we showed up, we were the first dinner patrons and he treated us like family. Nicola was the host, the entertainment, the waiter, the chef, the sommelier, and would've walked us home if we gave him the opportunity. The photos we took of La Preferita and with Nicola sadly did not develop but I don't need them to remember.

Had our first dinner here in Amalfi, following our host’s recommendation. Nice quaint hole in the wall restaurant along the coastal road. Amazing pasta with the freshest ingredients. The owner and waiter served us warmly and made us feel at home with their amazing service. Constantly came to check if the food was to our liking, and made sure all of our needs were attended to. Excellent local wine as well. Highly recommend this restaurant for everyone visiting Amalfi!

Our favorite restaurant during our visit to the Amalfi Coast. The food was amazing (lasagna, gnocchi, caprese, tiramisu) and the food and wine was priced so well. Fantastic service and a great view of the coast! Highly recommend!

Estábamos muy contentos de encontrar este increíble restaurante de gestión familiar frente a nuestro hotel en Amalfi. Está un poco fuera de la ciudad, pero vale la pena caminar. Se encuentra frente al Miramalfi Hotel y es realmente delicioso. ¡Asegúrese de reservar ya que se llena rápido! Gran servicio, ambiente único verdaderamente deliciosa comida!

Très bon petit resto en terrasse avec belle vue sur Amalfi Nous avons très bien mangé , la serveuse était vraiment très agréable , parlait français avec le sourire , de bons conseils et elle nous a fait découvrir le vin de la maison qui était un régal ! Les plats étaient bons et généreux ! Le rocher en dessert était un délice ! Tout cela en terminant par un limoncello avec les citrons d Amalfi bien sûr !! Une très belle découverte que l’on vous recommande

AMAZING!!!!! I can’t recommend this place enough, it is a family run restaurant with incredible food and the sweetest most attentive staff. ALSO THE VIEW IS INCREDIBLE!! Don’t miss this place when you’re in Amalfi, it was easily our favorite spot that we went to during our entire Italian vacation!
