We ordered caccio e pepe pasta - a small portion, nothing special in taste. Polpette in tomato sauce with mashed potatoes - tasty and a decent portion. Deer tartar with truffle - bland, without sorbet it would have been boring. Plus, we were told twice that there were no juices or tea, only Fanta/Cola and coffee, because "we are a restaurant, not a bar" 🙄

It's a temple of meat; every time I go, there's something new to try, and it's always a perfect experience. Federico, the owner, is a true enthusiast, and when he describes a dish on the menu or the various selections of aged meats, he has that smile and a twinkle in his eye that shows someone who truly loves what he does. The location is well-kept and intimate, both in winter (inside) and summer (outside), and the service is always excellent. For me, it's the number one restaurant.

We dined outdoors. Unfortunately, we ate practically in the dark because the light under the umbrella was off/broken. I had the picii al Morellino cacio e pepe for my first course. Very good, but for the price, the portion was small. For my second course, I had the suckling pig. The flavor was good, but the meat was dry. The other diners had Chianina meatballs with tomato sauce and cod on
chickpea cream.... Everything was good. Very good service.

This restaurant is located in the center of Magliano, along the main street, near the church. It features two small indoor dining rooms and an outdoor garden. The indoor dining rooms are charming and well-decorated, in keeping with what you might expect. The food is good, with dishes carefully crafted both in presentation and pairing. The menu and wine list are good, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Prices are moderately high. After your meal, a stroll through the town center is recommended. The historic walls overlooking the valley that extends to the sea are worth a visit.

I ate very well, of course meat both as an appetizer and as a second course. The Florentine steak of Maremma meat was very good and cooked as requested.
The owner and the waiter were very friendly and professional.

I give 3 stars because in the end we ate, but I'm honest in a Tuscan village I expected much more quality. The first courses had more or less all the same flavors, the name of the ragù changed but for me it was the same, we took 3 different ones. The most painful note for me, the cutting board, I swear present it like this and make me pay €20 for it, there were 4 of us, well I was a little disappointed. Another super painful note, we had 2 children and we wanted pasta for them, we were told that there was neither short pasta nor tomato, well gentlemen... it doesn't take much to make customers happy. Get organized!!!
