In the heart of a residential area in Milan, I discovered a culinary treasure that feels like a well-guarded secret among locals. This tiny, unassuming restaurant, managed by a delightful couple, offers an experience akin to being invited into an Italian family home. The restaurant's charm lies in its simplicity and authenticity. It operates only during traditional meal hours, which adds to its unique character. The atmosphere is intimate and homely, with a handful of tables often occupied by local patrons who clearly cherish this spot. What truly sets this restaurant apart is its menu - a collection of authentic recipes that seem to have been passed down through generations. These dishes are not what you would find in commercial eateries; they are heartfelt, traditional, and bursting with the flavors of genuine Italian home cooking. Dining here made me feel like I had Italian grandparents lovingly preparing meals for me. Each dish was a revelation, with rich, robust flavors that spoke of history and tradition. The ingredients were fresh, locally sourced, and each recipe was prepared with meticulous care. The couple who run the place are the epitome of Italian hospitality. Their passion for food and their joy in sharing their heritage with others is palpable. They are more than happy to share stories about their recipes, making each meal not just a feast for the palate but also a learning experience.
Fantastic restaurant. Delicious food, kind staff, and a welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend to anyone in the area.
The food is made with love. The tomatoes in the sauce of the ragu were so fresh and tasty. I had an incredible osso bucco risotto. I will always remember the combination of the risotto and the melty marrow from the osso bucco bone.
Grazie mille La Posteria!
Amazing food! We had dinner with shared starter, everyone a main and shared dessert! Everything tasted extremly good and was something special, nothing to find in every restaurant! Very professional service and pleasant athmosphere. We will come back!
