Every time I'm in the area, La Portella is a must-visit for the authentic goodness of the dishes served and the cozy, rustic atmosphere.
I love the cleanliness and elegance of the place, and I find the service to be quick and attentive to customer needs, with particular attention to food intolerances. Reservations aren't always necessary, even though the place is quite popular.

Welcoming place, very friendly staff. We had the pappardelle with wild boar sauce, which was amazing, even those who don't like game loved it. The soups were good, and the platter of cold cuts and cheeses included some amazing pecorino cheeses. In short, we loved everything...well done, well done!

A very welcoming place, not huge but with good spacing between tables. The food was excellent: the appetizer was excellent, with refined and unusual cured meats and cheeses, and the egg with truffle was also very good. The veal steak, ordered medium rare, arrived medium (something uncommon these days) and melted in the mouth. Good prices. Recommended.

Excellent Abruzzo dishes, some with truly exquisite truffles! Well-stocked wine list and super welcoming staff. The food is excellent and the price is right. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

We found this restaurant on the fly during a motorcycle ride. It's a lovely place with a beautiful view of the valley, impeccable service, a starter with fantastic blue cheeses, an excellent first course with porcini mushrooms, and a moderate price, unfortunately, appropriate for the times.

Excellent, to say the least. The traditional dishes are delicious. The staff and service are excellent. The surprise in terms of taste is the English cheese in the appetizer, and the tiramisu with gentian is a work of art, thanks to all the staff.
