Posizionato al centro di Sonnino si presenta da subito accogliente, si respira aria "buona", si è accolti con cordialità e con sorrisi. Le pietanze sono tutte buonissime. È nell antipasto, che secondo me è il punto di forza, dove si apprezzano i sapori veri e la ricerca delle materie prime. Gli affettati, i formaggi, le verdure sott' olio tutto eccezionale! Il pane e la pasta sono rigorasamwnte fatta in casa... e si sente, fatte con farine prodotte da loro, l olio poi...che bontà. I primi e i secondi, come ci ha spiegato Ignazio, sono realizzati con antiche ricette paesane che nella semplicità manifestano il piacere dei sapori autentici. Ottimi anche i dolci... senza tralasciare la cantina...tutto perfetto. Consigliatissimo!...a presto.

We had dinner at Portella and were immediately welcomed with such kindness and friendliness by the whole family who runs the restaurant. Excellent experience. The La Portella starter and the wild boar riccietti (in white) were exceptional, accompanied by a good Nero Buono Enea wine. Valuable attention to local products from wine, to Bassiano raw ham, cheeses and homemade bread seasoned with local oil. Highly recommended!

We had dinner in this tavern in the historic center of Sonnino and we really enjoyed it! To start, they offered us some bruschetta with their own Sonnino oil. Very kind Mr. Ignazio who, when we went to pay, offered us the limoncello of his own production. The homemade pasta is excellent and as a second course I recommend the very tender stewed goat! The tiramisu is also really good! Both indoor and outdoor seating tables. Very clean toilet. Really low prices, we will be back!!!!

An exceptional restaurant with a family atmosphere. The pasta is homemade with local grains and the same goes for the bread. The raw materials and wines are chosen from those proposed by local producers: truly unique flavors and digestibility. We came back two nights in a row because we loved it. Absolutely worth repeating
