Homemade food, very well prepared, delicious pasta with truffle, nothing fancy or extravagant. For starters, we also had a cream of onion soup (a rich and interesting dish), followed by a delicious meat pie. The prices are moderate given the quality and preparation (3 courses, water, coffee, and cover charge for €60), and the quality is certainly high.

This restaurant offers many local specialties. The quality is truly excellent and the service impeccable. The atmosphere is very refined.

We stopped at the wine shop, and what can I say? Excellent selection of wines and cured meats. Sofia, the woman who welcomes you inside, is excellent, helpful, knowledgeable, and very welcoming. I highly recommend stopping by the wine shop! Thank you for everything!!!!!

A gem in Buonconvento. What can I say...a wonderful discovery for us food and wine lovers...looking out onto a timeless street, we tasted unparalleled dishes and wines, all accompanied by friendly and welcoming service!!! We can't wait to return!

We stumbled upon this restaurant by pure chance. We arrived late, almost at closing time, and they were very kind to serve us anyway. The portions are generous and definitely delicious. Tartar and pici with white Chianina ragù were our choice. Everything was excellent, the quality and the price were excellent! Highly recommended if you're passing through this beautiful Tuscan village.

A small but well-maintained tavern. First of all, it's located in a characteristic spot in Buonconvento's historic center. At the entrance, there's a bar and a register. We were immediately greeted warmly by a very courteous waiter who led us into the dining room on the left. It's not a particularly large room, but it's a quaint, homey atmosphere. The exposed beams and brick vaulted ceilings, though repainted, give the place a rustic, old-world feel. The service was impeccable, polite, and courteous. The first course, pici with goose sauce, was delicious; I wasn't so keen on the appetizer: the menu said "fegatelli," but in reality it was two pieces of pâté spread on bread. The slightly toasted bread was good, but the pâté was cold and I didn't particularly enjoy it. Plus, they'd added a sweet sauce that affected the flavor. Overall, it was a positive experience. Definitely recommended for a lunch featuring local dishes.
