We only ate, it's worth a visit.

What a find. Up a mountain track in the middle of nowhere (bikers beware of the road up), this place was a gem. Hard to pin point just why and not for everyone but we loved it. It has character, good sized rooms, a small bar, rustic food, a library, botanical gardens, fantastic views, ample parking (on gravel) big and loud bells, and nuns? Its like staying with your granny in the country you just get on with it!

If you are in Arta Terme and want to go back to when people really shared, come here!!! I have never tasted such good cjarsosns, not to mention the wild boar!!! Kindness and courtesy to make guests feel at home. Thanks to Arianna and her husband and Ilenia. Do not hesitate and do not miss the breathtaking view of the But Valley, even if you have a full belly!!!

Food: Delicious! You leave satisfied and full. I ate the cjarsons, frico and cappucci with bacon. Everything was really delicious Service: the owners are fantastic. I talked to them during the whole dinner, they kept me company and I felt welcome and at home. Atmosphere: very welcoming Excellent quality/price ratio HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Outstanding. Special restaurant, situated in a picturesque small village, tranquil, with lovely views of the valley and the mountains. The food is spectacular, tastefully home-made. We had a lardo, tagliata and pasticcio. Well worth the short drive from the valley. Friendly hosts. Grazie mille!

Discovered by chance while walking in the Arta Terme area. Since it was already dusk we only tried the strudel which was hot, with cream and delicious as well as plentiful but we will definitely come back to try the rest too. Beautiful environment.
