Small place among the streets of the historic center of Otranto It has many tables, some with a view as in breathtaking photos, especially at sunset. Quality food especially the raw ones! Very distinct and balanced flavors! Tasty and simple at the same time Fast and helpful service A place that tastes like summer

Passeggiando per le vie di Otranto ho trovato questo Fish Bar molto carino e curato nei dettagli, ho deciso di portarci il mio compagno amante del polpo. Abbiamo mangiato delle polpette buonissime e un buon panino. Forse i prezzi un pochino eccessivi confrontando anche i ristoranti. Il cibo nè valso il viaggio

Beautiful place with stools and high tables with panoramic views of Otranto. The raw material is excellent but some combinations, to my taste, need to be reviewed. Nice guys and good at serving

Beautiful place, on one of Otranto's panoramic terraces, but the sandwich was very dry and poorly seasoned. They did not meet our expectations. Excellent for a simple aperitif.

We were on a table overlooking the sea so a wonderful view! The food was very good! The sandwiches are well stuffed, not excessively but just right! The staff is very kind and very knowledgeable!

THE sunset aperitif spot! Romantic as can be, this bar overlooks the port and the view is incredible. A creative menu of revisited cocktails, nice aperitifs which can be followed by a meal with flavors of the sea. Fast service, nice price… hello!

Tourist place, it is saved only for the sea view. Bread is nothing more than supermarket rosette, fish is of questionable quality. We asked if the smoked salmon sandwich was "home made" (as was another smoked salmon dish on the menu) and we were told yes, too bad that, when we opened the sandwich, the typical smoked salmon revealed itself in a bag purchased at the supermarket. All we had to do was be honest and we would have opted for another dish. Unfortunately Otranto is dotted with tourist places like this: having huge crowds of tourists every year, they can afford to charge €14 for a sandwich with mediocre ingredients, as these tourists are often incapable of understanding what a real fish dish is.

We arrived a little late and they had given up our regularly booked table. There were 5 of us at dinner at a table for 2. The fifteen academic minutes no longer exist... at 10pm they already had no more octopus balls... the frying was soggy. Maybe we had the wrong evening... since it's not the first time we have dinner there...

09/12/2024: I've only been there twice, so far, and it's always a pleasure. Excellent food, informal and quick service. The turcinieddhi are truly spectacular, they are worth the trip alone. The fried meatballs satisfy hunger and the croquettes whet the appetite. The mixed grill then crushes you, wings and sausage, everything is always truly excellent.
01/11/2024: Che dire nel centro storico di Nardo’, un posto fantastico dove degustare la gastronomia di questo bellissima città. Locale caratteristico, pulito. Abbiamo degustato i famosi pezzetti all’aperto in questo bel vicolo. Chi passa da Nardo’ deve fare una tappa qui per far godere il palato. Complimenti

Ristorante Il Ponticello

29/01/2025: La posizione è l'attrazione principale, perché si affaccia direttamente sulla spiaggia e la vista dai tavoli è notevole. Non male la cucina. Per esempio mi sono piaciuti (e consiglio) i tagliolini di pasta fresca impastati col prezzemolo e generosamente conditi con frutti di mare, crostacei e calamari. Il personale è gentilissimo e disponibile a qualsiasi richiesta.
30/09/2024: Very nice restaurant, sea view, two characteristic rooms, open-air side by the sea with the sand and the sound of the sea almost under your feet and indoors with elegance and right spaces. Courteous staff attentive to any request, kind and ready to fulfill your requests (the owners are always there too). It's my second time going and it has never disappointed my cravings with great food. Wide choice on the menu with top quality and above all fresh ingredients. You can eat mainly fish-based dishes but for those who are allergic like me, they can also enjoy tasty land dishes. Abundant with quantity. Clear bathrooms and possibilities for disabled people too. The only flaw is that on the side of the covered room there is no access for wheelchair users. Anyway they will do it as soon as possible. Recommended restaurant for all those who don't want to be fooled by tourist menus without flavors and more.....THE NEW PONTICELLO IS A REAL RESTAURANT.
