Very nice to sit outside in the small square next to the cozy bookstore with quiet music in the background and good flavors on the table.

Stopping here is a must! The seating is wonderful. The sandwich was superb! We ate a lot and it was delicious.

The atmosphere and location are the strong points of Polperia (if they seat you at the tables with high stools overlooking the sea, they also have tables in the square and inside). The second strong point is the people who work there: fast service and kind and polite staff. They use disposable plates (thankfully not plastic). I found the neck of my glass bottle a little too "dusty." In my opinion, the prices are a bit high given the quality of the ingredients.

Polperia is a unique, unconventional restaurant. Good food and a lovely setting on the streets of Otranto, with tables overlooking the city.

Delightful atmosphere, in a unique location in the center of Otranto. Friendly and polite staff. We especially found a very kind lady at the cash register who greeted us with a warm smile! Highly recommended!

Beautiful place to have lunch, but the food and the service does not worth the price paid. But the area is very nice ! So good for a snack or a drink..

Very nice location, I think it's perfect for aperitifs rather than dinner. The service is quite fast, but the food is decent; I'd say the portions are a bit small for the price.

Consigliato da amici, questo posto ha superato ogni aspettativa. Si può cenare in una splendida terrazza vista mare (dalla quale godere del tramonto su Otranto) oppure su un cortiletto più interno. Piatti ottimo, consigliatissimo ol panino con il polpo e le frise. Personale molto gentile!!!

02/02/2026: I went there yesterday with my mother for dinner. The pizza was large and the calzones were good, but the prices were a bit too high...
