Caffè Paisiello Food & Drink In Lecce

The waiter was very pleasant and very calm.

In a rush, between sightseeing in the center of Lecce, I stumbled upon this lovely bar! I tried the rustico leccese, which, compared to many others, was undeniably the best! The pastry was perfectly made, and so was the filling (plentiful and flavorful)! I recommend it to everyone!

Excellent coffee and quality pastries in a fantastic location. The bar is located directly across from the Paisiello Theater, on the road leading to the Duomo, and is the perfect spot to enjoy the historic center. The outdoor area is very pleasant and lively, ideal for a break while watching the tourists pass by near Porta Napoli. Recommended for those looking for a quality stop in the heart of the city.

A very convenient location right in the city center, efficient and fast service, and fair prices. We weren't thrilled with the eggplant parmigiana; perhaps we have different tastes: the eggplant didn't seem fried, and the passata was too runny. The orecchiette with meatballs was better, but even then, the sauce was too watery. The desserts were excellent. The "birra terrona" (terrona beer) was excellent.

Cool place, good shade,when it is hot.Young people serving speak good english and are so kind. Just had one of the best meals in Pulia, griled sward fish with griled vegetables.Bravo!

A pleasant discovery in the heart of Lecce. Caffè Paisiello is the ideal place to enjoy a break in a welcoming and characteristic atmosphere, where you can enjoy authentic local specialties. The pasticciotto alla crema was simply delicious: fragrant on the outside, with a rich and delicate filling that makes it truly irresistible. Also not to be missed is the caffè leccese, a local specialty that we found truly special and perfect for refreshing yourself and savoring a piece of Salento tradition. The staff was kind and friendly, helping make the experience even more enjoyable. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Lecce and wanting to savor its most authentic flavors.

A cafe with responsive waitstaff in a great, quiet location. They offer delicious "puccia" sandwiches with various ingredients, salads, drinks, and more. The staff speaks English well. The only thing that needs improvement is the cleanliness of the restrooms 😉.
