I'd like to correct a review from 5 years ago. I was disappointed.
Undercooked pizzoccheri, flavorless polenta, and paying €3 for a box under my plate seemed excessive. Let's just say I don't recommend it.

We went for lunch today after booking online through their website. Everything was prompt and timely. Giulia welcomed us warmly upon entry, and the waiters were extremely kind, attentive, and quick with their service. We ordered everything from Valtellina, including sciatt appetizers to share, croquettes and baked chips, and a generous first course of pizzoccheri. All the desserts were inviting. Prices were reasonable. The only downside was the outdoor restroom, which was dated and dilapidated, a complete contrast to the otherwise very nice place. Perhaps some renovation is needed...

An excellent restaurant serving traditional Lombard cuisine. We had an appetizer (excellently prepared fried bleak) and two polentas, one with porcini mushrooms and one with cheese and sausage, both spectacular. We also had a medium beer, a still water, a dessert (apple crumble), and a coffee. The waiters were very friendly and attentive, and they even offered us an aperitif with prosecco and sciatt. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.

We ate at Polenteria for the first time and had a great time. The place is close to the lighthouse and the bus stop, making it very easy to get to. The dishes are very good and unique, featuring typical Como and Bergamo cuisine. The only downside is that the waitress gave me the wrong change, but she apologized. And the water was €3.50. The restaurant is expensive overall, but in Brunate the prices are more or less the same. On a positive note, the aperitif is offered on site. We'll be back to visit you again.

Buon locale vicino al faro Voltiano di Brunate.
Servizio buono, con personale cortese e sorridente. Gustato dell' ottimo cibo, antipasti, pizzoccheri e polenta taragna.. come finale per dolce tiramisù. Buon vino rosso in bottiglia scelto da Noi. Fuori menù offerto e servito un bicchiere di digestivo con chiodi di garofano. Spesa giusta.
