As a family we spent Christmas lunch at the Polenteria. We were greeted with a warm welcome.
We really liked the place, attention to detail was taken care of... we breathed the air of home straight away.
The meat-based Christmas menu, passed with flying colors. The staff proved to be welcoming, efficient and punctual with requests. We appreciated the greeting from the chef who stopped by our table twice to ask us how we were continuing with lunch. Another significant detail? They prepared a bowl of water for our dog.
Recommended for those who embrace simplicity and tradition.

Restaurant with almost all polenta-based dishes. Characteristic in the appetizer is the presence of small whole salamis, deer, pork and goose. The polenta uncia is recommended. Worth a try if you pass by Lake Como.

I would like to point out that the visit was made on Sunday at lunchtime: therefore crowded.
Having said that, a nice place that is absolutely not mountainous (if this was the desired address).
It certainly doesn't have refuge prices or a cabin look in Cortina.
The staff is very kind, helpful and in the right number but something is missing in the kitchen.
The dishes veer towards local gourmet waters but I believe they are sailing in waters unknown to them.
Little parking and a challenging road for large cars or Sunday drivers.

Celebrated my 60th birthday today. Elegant, warm and relaxing atmosphere. Super friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous welcome even for our "furry" and what can I say about the EXCELLENT food!!!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sono stato per caso dopo una giornata abbastanza pesante a Como , accoglienza ottima da parte di Silvia consigliandoci ottimi piatti tutti home Made , se volete godervi una bella serata fresca d’estate in relax è un posto consigliatissimo! Consigliata anche passeggiata post cena al bellissimo faro di Brunate con vista mozzafiato. Torneremo sicuramente! Grazie a tutto lo staff!
