A truly excellent restaurant and even though it serves typical Lombard cuisine, which everyone says is delicious, it is also suitable for those like me who don't eat meat and in fact I left more than satisfied.

Excellent food in an elegant, beautiful setting with a good clientele. Traditional cuisine, with even a portion of the menu written in dialect. A place that has stood the test of time for 175 years and I hope it lasts just as long.

Milanese restaurant. I've been going there for years. I hosted a dinner for a group in November, and I have to say that the service, unfortunately, has gotten worse. The food also seemed like a step backwards.

04/03/2026: A restaurant that offers a truly remarkable experience. The combination of cuisine, service, wine list, and ambiance is top-notch, without being overbearing: the quality doesn't need to be shouted about. Perhaps the only (venial) flaw is the limited menu.
18/02/2026: I have been coming to this restaurant for the last 20+ years, and it is always a guarantee. One of the few cases I know of, of a restaurant managing to keep the 'snail' (too distinction) of the slow food restaurant guide for decades in a row: meaning that the quality does not go down, and the prices do not go up - not too much, at least. One if the most respected Italian restaurant critics claims it has the best cotoletta alla Milanese and I can only agree. This said, next to the evergreens (cotoletta, risotto and so on) there are always several new modern takes on traditional dishes - some you may have never heard before. Service always attentive. Refined and relaxed atmosphere. Count on me for the next twenty years!

23/02/2026: Very friendly staff, excellent food (especially the appetizers). A little pricey, but highly recommended.
29/12/2025: Excellent food, very nice vintage-style wooden place, but too noisy to talk... a real shame considering the excellent dishes!
