This place was recommended to me, and I booked without looking at the reviews. Once I walked in, I wondered what it was like, and the reviews were pretty bad. I was obviously very biased, but I was pleasantly surprised by the speedy service and excellent food. We tried fragrant pici with porcini mushrooms, a truly delicious ribollita, and a tender ossobuco that melted in your mouth, accompanied by a fresh, crunchy, and flavorful mixed salad. I recommend finishing your dinner with their cantucci.

I have had Gluten free Risotto, pizza and tiramisu. The pizza was really tasty but I cannot say the same for Risotto or tiramisu. I think Risotto was just not my taste. The tiramisu did not feel like a tiramisu at all :) I would recommend here for the GLuten free pizza 😋 PS: the owner said the tiramisu was done somewhere else and they were not happy with the quality of it either. They will change it for the future so might still be worth giving it a shout next time!

I had the pizza maialona here, and it was very good. The service was friendly, and the terrace was spacious with a view of Siena's cathedral. I found the Raffo beer rather bland and not quite cold enough. Italy has better beers.

The view of the city is superb, and that's the restaurant's main selling point. As for the pizza (which we ordered), it was okay, but nothing special; my Italian friend in Paris makes better ones.

29/12/2025: The view is beautiful, the best one over the rooftops of Siena is the Duomo.... The food is good, the service is young, perhaps a little slow, but I have to consider that I was there on a Friday evening when the place was full. The price was right.
16/12/2025: Exceptional pizza, with a soft crust and generous toppings. Very fair prices (Margherita for €6), and fast, friendly service. Beautiful location.
