Small place and not particularly exciting, but good pizza, friendly staff and a fair wait. The sore points, at least in my experience, were two: 1) the microscopic cheesecakes with almost no base underneath (they had probably run out of ingredients, I don't know, but at that point don't even offer it) very different from how they appear in some photos 2) one person at the table with me got the pizza completely wrong. We didn't tell him because in the end he was fine with it anyway, maybe they would have made it again, I'm not arguing, but if someone asks (for example, I can't remember the specific pizza now) for a "4 cheeses with sausage" it's obvious that they mean the sausage PLUS the 4 cheeses; instead a margherita arrived with only the sausage... It was certainly a coincidence, but so be it.

15/10/2025: A truly beautiful hotel. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and quiet and a true Tuscan feel. I'm writing this review during my stay and am really annoyed by some of the reviews I read beforehand. I actually wanted to cancel my booking because of these reviews. It would have been a mistake. Of course, you shouldn't expect a 5-star Hilton here. But then you're in the wrong place anyway. Yes, a few minor repairs or maintenance can't hurt. And everyone's needs are certainly different. The most important thing, though, is that it's clean, quiet, and the food is delicious. The breakfast is simply fantastic! And the view is fantastic, too. We stayed there for 4 nights with our dog. We would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you!
04/10/2025: We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation is a perfect base to explore Tuscany – Volterra, San Gimignano, and Pisa are all within easy reach. At the same time, it’s peaceful with stunning views. The staff deserves a special mention: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always helpful – truly outstanding! The restaurant is another highlight, absolutely top quality and highly recommended. The rooms are simply furnished but spotlessly clean. Overall, the value for money is excellent. We also loved the extra services such as the e-mountain bike rental and the possibility to book a massage directly at the property. Another big plus: dogs are very welcome here, which we really appreciated! We would definitely love to come back and recommend this place!

14/10/2025: We arrived at 9:30 PM, were seated at 10:10 PM, and the pizza arrived at 11:15 PM. The pizza arrived lukewarm, almost ice cold... if it had been hot, it would have been good, but after 1 hour and 45 minutes, even hunger fades. Furthermore, they placed the front door, which they had left open, in front of us. Even though we politely asked them to close it, they told us it wasn't possible because the waiters were too hot.
13/08/2025: An unexpected place. While searching for a random pizzeria open in August, I stumbled upon "Al solito posto." Besides the pizza, I ordered an Unlocked Gourmet pizza, which was really good. What particularly struck me was the young and friendly staff. The background music allows you to chat in peace. The price is slightly above average, but it's balanced by the quality of the products. Definitely a place to visit more often. Keep it up.
