Excellent experience at La Pizza dal 1964. The place is small and very minimal, but that's perfectly reasonable considering they do a lot of takeout. I recommend getting there early if you don't want to wait, as they don't take reservations and it's almost always packed. I've had takeout before, and it's always been very good, but eating it fresh from the oven is a whole different story. The pizza is well-topped, with lots of mozzarella, perfectly flavorful tomato sauce, and a very soft dough with a nice crispy crust. Keep in mind that you pay by weight, so the price may be a bit higher than other pizzas by the slice, but in my opinion, it's more than justified by the quality of the ingredients and the final result.

Well, it's really good and highly recommended. But there's a problem. First of all, the lady who served us was sick (she coughed on the table!!). If you're sick, stay home! Luckily, in Italy, we get paid for sick leave. Then, I didn't know the place, and we were immediately escorted to our table, so I didn't have a chance to read anything anywhere. She came to the table and asked, "What are you having?" When I replied, "I don't even know what's available," she responded in a very, very, very rude way. If I don't know, I don't know! This is definitely not the way to make people come back. But the same goes for another waitress who muttered unpleasant things after a lady kindly asked what was available...an elderly lady, by the way...what kind of way is that to treat people? The young people, on the other hand, are very kind, and that's why, besides the food, the review didn't get a single star. If it's so annoying to tell customers the pizza ingredients, send them a QR code (free!) so we can look it up on our phones.

Absolutely a sure thing Superior pizza by the slice, combined with the courtesy and kindness of the table staff, a detail that's not to be taken for granted. As they say in these cases, well done everyone 👏

The pizza is delicious, plentiful, and packed with toppings. Fair prices, based on weight. The pizzeria recently expanded by purchasing the former bank space next door, which now offers much more space.

For a quick slice on Sunday evenings, you have to queue, but it's absolutely worth it!
