We returned, after some time, to this tavern in Bracigliano with a question: will the memories of the good flavors already appreciated in this welcoming place be confirmed? The answer is that over time, with the many years of experience of the owner, his dynamic and kind wife and an increasingly surprising family cook, this restaurant has reached high levels of quality in interpreting the best traditions of this ancient village. We particularly appreciated a formidable "mallone", two touching first courses, the traditional fusilli with ragù with goat chop and a pasta and potatoes with provola which alone justify the trip. A grilled lamb with a side of house potatoes with porcini mushrooms crowned the beautiful evening. The wine list is good, focused on reds from Campania with interesting excursions at a national level. good price/quality ratio

Mrs. Mafalda's welcome immediately puts you at ease and you immediately feel at home. We will undoubtedly return to taste many other seasonal delicacies. You pay the right amount.

It's a regular stop when I want to eat good, genuine food. Everything is cooked with care and skill, traditional local dishes and excellent quality material. The owners are very kind and the environment is warm, welcoming and informal. Highly recommended! PS: I never took photos because I thought about enjoying the dinners 😀

Ambiente: un finto rustico sotto una palazzina anonima.
Servizio: veloce e familiare
Cucina: ottimo l’ antipasto la Pignata, soprattutto il mallone e le polpette al sugo, buoni i primi (paccheri del monte piesco, paccheri allardiati e risotto formaggio e noci) e la tagliata di manzo ai porcini. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo

Excellent food, the candle with the chop is practically a first and second course together, the chop is served whole, the sirloin is excellent as is the mallone, the meatballs cost around 30 euros per person. Any advice? If you take the candles with chop, divide the second one so that there is room for the dessert.

Diciamo che la pizza non è il loro forte, sono stato con la mia compagna lei ha preso una pizza che come detto non è il loro forte io un misto di carne alla brace e mi è piaciuto, per il resto tutto nella norma i camerieri si sono mostrati gentili e il servizio senza nessun problema.
