La Piccola Trattoria DA ME In Roma

A small, authentic trattoria with a family atmosphere and authentic cuisine. The cacio e pepe is spectacular, but the other dishes are delicious too. A+++.

This is a true Roman osteria, like few others. A small restaurant in Garbatella with 5-6 tables and an outdoor area with another 4, but the cuisine is impressive, thanks to the owner's love and dedication to tradition. The menu is simple and a distillation of Roman cuisine. The price point is simple: €10 for first courses and €11 for second courses, but the ingredients and the care taken in preparing it are top-quality. We had a truly outstanding cacio e pepe, perfectly cooked tonnarelli, and a textbook sauce. For our main course, we had Roman-style tripe with a side of pan-fried chicory; the tripe was even better than the tripe made by my wife's grandmother, who is also Roman. To finish, we had cookies baked by the owner's grandmother. We left happy to have taken a little trip down memory lane of Rome, and we're sure we'll be back. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Our first dinner in Rome was at this trattoria, and it was unforgettable. Great Italian atmosphere, amazing pasta and tiramisu, and excellent wine. Highly recommended.

It's a good idea to book because it's a delightful place and is likely to be busy given its limited seating (which is perfect). The food is good and the atmosphere is pleasant. A quiet little place where you can enjoy delicious home-cooked food. Once you go, you'll want to come back.

Great place, a great local restaurant with home cooking, don't expect too many tourists, enjoy eating with the locals.

I primi 10,00€ I secondi 11,00€ Fatti in maniera semplice. Ci sono i piatti della tradizione romana. Buone le polpette. Vogliamo fare le pulci...i prezzi, in un contesto così un euro o un euro e mezzo meno sarebbe più giusto, ma va bene così. Ci si tornerà

Petit restaurant authentique avec un serveur super simpa. Une carte simple,efficace, très abordable au niveau des prix et surtout un délice pour les papilles!!!
