The service is another strong point: Maria Paola is impeccable. Kind, smiling, fast, always present without ever being intrusive. She makes you feel welcomed, cared for, and pampered. The kind of service that makes lunch a true pleasure. La Piazzetta is the ideal place for a midday lunch, especially for those who love fish and prefer substance over form. Here you won't find a fancy atmosphere or a restaurant from glossy photos: if you're looking for a refined establishment, you've probably come to the wrong place. But if you're looking for true quality, excellent ingredients, and surprising cuisine, then you're in the right place. I've been here for ten days and I return every day for lunch, without hesitation. The only real flaw? Having only just discovered it... and having to deal with being closed on Saturdays and Sundays. La Piazzetta doesn't promise, it delivers. And when the quality is this high, nothing else is needed.

Excellent spaghetti with mussels!

A word of caution for tourists: Bar-Tabacchi LA PIAZZETTA is NOT a restaurant (given the prices) for lingering over a meal, but it is frequented at lunchtime by local workers. LA PIAZZETTA allows residents and regulars to enjoy good meals at reasonable prices before heading back to work. As a customer for 9 years, I appreciate the freshness of the ingredients and the excellent value for money of the delicious dishes served by a friendly and welcoming team. There are few tables inside, but a lovely covered terrace and a shaded terrace on the small square. The most important thing is what's on the plate. The furniture (tables and chairs) is constantly cleaned, and hygiene is paramount. Popular with locals year-round, it also attracts a steady stream of tourists in the summer. Highly recommended.

An absolutely top-notch trattoria with excellent value for money. It's always very busy, especially at lunchtime, so the staff is always very busy—please accept that. Lots of locals, there's always a special lunch menu, and as with every small trattoria in Sardinia, not everything is available on the standard menu. Truly good Sardinian cuisine with filling portions. We eat here every year. Anyone who gives a bad review has no business being in Sardinia. And to reiterate: the waitress is never unfriendly; she's just very busy! Smile, and you'll get a smile back.

I was here to eat and by accident I used the toilet for the staf. (In my defence, the door was open and I saw the toilet right away and I just travelled and was very tired). I closed the door and before I opened the door again I saw the bags of the staf. I was so ashamed that i didn't see it before and I hurried back to my seat. The cook came to my table and was angry with me for using the bathroom. I apologised but I didn't feel good afterwards about it. Afain, i'm really sorry for not paying attention enough. The food was great but I will never eat here again after this disaster.

I had the spaghetti with clams and the grated dried fish roe. It was the first time I’d had it and it was absolutely delicious. Excellent quality, decent prices, which gets it five stars in my book.

A simple yet cozy and authentic bar in Monte Petrosu. The cappuccino is excellent, and the service is very friendly.
