14/10/2025: It's a beautiful and welcoming restaurant with soft lighting and tables in the garden. As soon as you enter, there's a large table full of fabulous appetizers, including a wide variety of vegetables: asparagus, delicious and sweet baked pumpkin, peperonata (a spicy dish of peppers), eggplant mushrooms, zucchini, green beans, boiled potatoes, grilled tomatoes, but also cured meats, frittatina (fried omelette), small soft goat cheeses, giant green Cerignola olives, baby artichokes in oil, anchovies—in short, a veritable feast of delicacies, and you can help yourself, choosing whatever you like.
A lovely way to start! Then there are many typical Ferrarese dishes, such as pumpkin tortellacci with butter and sage, as well as tagliatelle or pappardelle, with chanterelles or porcini mushrooms in season, and eggplant parmigiana—in short, a truly extensive menu.
The desserts are also very good, including the truly exquisite Sicilian cassata.
Extensive wine list.
Friendly and attentive service.
The restaurant is located on a wonderful, quiet cobblestone street lined with flowering trees and beautiful old houses, just steps from the famous Palazzo dei Diamanti, which often hosts prestigious art exhibitions.
