29/09/2024: One of the best restaurants we've ever had the pleasure of eating in. One evening on our vacation we ended up in this beautiful restaurant quite by chance as we were staying in an AirBnb nearby. Since we eat a vegetarian diet, we weren't sure at first whether there would be something suitable for us, but that wasn't a problem at all. The incredibly nice staff immediately suggested several options for vegetarian dishes and even gave us the opportunity to prepare special dishes for us that weren't even on the menu. We then decided on the Gnocchetti di Spinaci and can fully recommend it to everyone. We have rarely eaten something so delicious. There is also a great selection of desserts, we tried many different ones. We enjoyed it so much and were treated so incredibly well that we ate dinner there a total of 4 or 5 times. The prices are very reasonable for the great food and the nice staff and ambience. So we can only recommend eating here too. The owner also speaks English very well, so you can communicate easily.

06/09/2024: We were lucky to be able to eat in this wonderful restaurant - and will definitely do so more times in the last days of our vacation! Our holiday accommodation is right next to the Carpe Diem, so we have seen it several times as we drove past and our hostess also told us about it. Luckily for us, the incredibly kind owner of the restaurant happened to see us standing at the bus stop a few days earlier and offered to give us a ride down to the village of San Terenzo in his car. We have already felt his hospitality from him. However, when we went there for dinner this evening, everything was surpassed once again: Since most of the dishes on the menu contain meat or fish, but we are vegetarians, no effort was spared and we were offered other dishes that were not on the menu. It started with a homemade “pesto” for slices of bread. Really super tasty! For the main course we ate pasta with tomato sauce and the spinach gnocchi with onions and tomatoes. The latter was definitely the best dish we have ever had in a restaurant🤩 The dolcis, for example the ice cream with basil, olive oil and pine nuts, was also amazing. The waitress was incredibly nice and looked after us very well and, despite the slight language barrier, explained everything and took time for us. The atmosphere is relaxed and you can definitely feel comfortable and enjoy an incredibly good dinner. And at such a good price too. Thanks for the great experience! We'll be back!
