The place is small, but it has an outdoor garden for the summer. It's not very well-kept; the bathrooms are outside and a bit dated. The food is simple but homely, family-style. The hostess is kind and helpful.

So... I live in the square, so I know all the local restaurants. I often go to La Pergola to eat. Today they outdid themselves. They made me a carbonara with handmade fettuccine upon request. Guys... I've eaten a lot of carbonara since I'm obsessed with it. But this one was out of this world. Compliments to the chef. Then he brought me the ossobuco stew. Lunch worth 10. Well done... Kind, nice, excellent food.

Delicious appetizer mix of cured meats and cheeses. We also had a trio of pasta dishes: fettuccine, gnocchi, and radiologi. Everything was delicious. The grilled meat main courses were also excellent. Excellent value.
