I expected something different from the site.

A beautiful haven of tranquility where fine cuisine meets a passion for making guests feel good. Revisited Ligurian cuisine, yet respectful of the ingredients, excellent local wine pairings, and careful selection of small producers who also produce unusual wines. Finally, a lovely, quiet outdoor area, far from the hustle and bustle of Sestri Levante's center. A wonderful restaurant project that deserves to be appreciated and supported (even compared to an otherwise rather standard local cuisine).

We had a delightful time. The dishes were refined, regional, fresh, expertly prepared, and of course, exquisite yet generous, from the appetizers to the dessert, not forgetting the focaccia served at the table! The wine list is superb, and the owner will be able to advise you perfectly. The place is run by a lovely couple who gave us a perfect welcome, as did the staff who assist them with the service. I highly recommend booking this gem of a place without hesitation when visiting Liguria; it's a unique spot, one of the few you'll find in the region.

Wonderful evening in this restaurant, we were very well received by this couple of restaurateurs and their staff. The dishes are a reflection of Ligurian gastronomy with fresh and very well prepared products. The seasonings are truly delicious and the wine list is fantastic. A quiet, unique, and well-maintained location, the tranquility of the overall management is excellent. Authentic food, and the peaceful atmosphere makes the wait for meals comfortable. The only drawback is that it's a bit pricey.

I had dinner last night with friends and a friend of Bulgarian origin. I was fascinated by the owners' courteous and professional service. They recommended and, above all, pampered us, from the welcome to the small gift. A small restaurant where we can return even on weekdays to relax and be transported by simple, high-quality local cuisine with a distinctly modern twist that fascinated us. Thank you, Daniele

It makes you feel good. Four words to simply describe an evening at Agricuoco, a restaurant located between Sestri Levante and Riva Trigoso in the Ligurian countryside. It makes you feel good because Emanuele and Rossana, the hosts, welcome you with warmth and empathy. It makes you feel good because the menu (four to five seafood courses, as well as five meat and garden dishes) capture the flavors of Liguria with an innovative vision, using top-quality ingredients crafted by Chef Edgar. A couple of standout examples: a breathtaking capon magro (cooking it this well is no easy feat) and a cabannina carpaccio served with Ligurian herb gelato that will leave you speechless. And the cheese tasting—selected by Rossana, who is truly knowledgeable about the subject—is a treat not to be missed. It makes you feel good because both dining locations (the beautifully appointed country-style interior or the garden outdoors surrounded by nature) completely satisfy your desire for relaxation. And it makes you feel good because the wine is... excellent: the wine list (many natural and from small producers) is the result of a careful selection, field-tested by Emanuele, who is a true benchmark in the sector. A true Gottaro, in short. Two dinners were enough to make it one of my favorite places.

Un piccolo gioiello a gestione familiare, immerso nella tranquillità dell’entroterra di Sestri Levante. L’atmosfera è autentica, accogliente e curata, con un tocco rustico che mette subito a proprio agio. Il menù propone piatti stagionali e creativi, sempre con un legame forte alla tradizione ligure. Le preparazioni sono interessanti, ben eseguite e mai banali. Una menzione speciale va alla selezione di vini, con etichette particolari e ricercate: il proprietario è competente e appassionato, e sa consigliare con grande professionalità. Un posto dove si percepisce chiaramente l’amore per la cucina e per il territorio. Da provare, soprattutto per chi cerca qualcosa di vero e fuori dai soliti circuiti.
