If you're anywhere near Borgo San Lorenzo, “La Pentolaccia” is an absolute must. I came here based on a local recommendation, and it exceeded every expectation. The star of the evening was the tagliata ai funghi porcini – perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth beef paired with incredibly fragrant, seasonal porcini mushrooms. The balance of flavors was divine, with every bite capturing the heart of Tuscan cuisine. Simple, honest, and utterly delicious. But what truly sets this place apart is the service. Warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. From the moment we walked in, we felt like welcome guests rather than customers. The staff was knowledgeable and happy to guide us through the menu, making the experience feel both personal and special.

Excellent discovery after years of not passing through Sagginale....we came for Giorgione's tortello, but at Pentolaccia you will find equally good and plentiful tortelli....and fair prices!

Our favorite restaurant when we want to treat ourselves to a good relaxing break. Mrs. Daniela pampers us starting by lighting the candle on "our" table in the corner and bringing samples of tasty flatbread. Any dish is prepared, good, plentiful. Fresh handmade pasta, delicious sauces, beans that melt in your mouth, light fried food, a wide choice of second courses, homemade desserts... Even pizza! Recommended especially on weekdays, because the indoor environment is not large. In the summer the tables outside are brightened up by a balcony of beautiful flowering plants. And what about the possibility of bringing our four-legged friends? Of any size, everyone is welcome, also pampered by a bowl of fresh water and a delicious treat. Top!
