A place I would recommend without hesitation. I would return every time I visit Florence. Run by its owners (mother, father, and son), who are incredibly kind and friendly. Because they have only a few tables, they can interact attentively with each customer. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and experience they offer. The pasta is 100% homemade, made with excellent ingredients. This is the place to experience authentic Italian cuisine. It's worth venturing a little outside the city center for a more personalized and family-friendly lunch or dinner.

Since I moved to Florence, Pentola dell'Oro has been my go-to restaurant. The quality of the food and Matteo and his parents' passion for what they do are priceless. The atmosphere is simple, clean, and welcoming. A gem, just steps from the center of Florence.

Delicious food, a welcoming, family atmosphere, and polite, friendly, and cheerful staff.
The bathroom is very clean, as is the entire place.
The prices are fair and well-deserved, the meat is excellent, as are the pasta.
If I weren't from Rome, this would become a regular. ❤️

A family-run restaurant near the hotel where we stayed.
We loved it, an incredible risotto that my years of cooking experience would never have allowed me to recreate.
We returned the following night and I had the truffle pasta, one of the best I've ever had.
The service is amazing, everyone is very polite and helpful.
Best restaurant in Florence.

Nice little restaurant with excellent value for money run by a friendly family. We tried the fresh pasta Bolognese style, spaghetti vongole, spaghetti carbonara and ravioli Pomodoro, all the dishes were very good. For dessert we had a tiramisu (excellent), a pepper tart (good and interesting) and a dessert I think made with cottage cheese, cocoa and forest fruits, the favorite dessert of my wife who is less sweet than us ;-). With coffees, 2 glasses of red wine (well served and quite good but served too hot) and water we paid a little less than 100 €. For us a place where we will return with pleasure. Thank you!

I'm a regular customer now; Matteo and his family are fantastic.
The dishes are a mix of innovation and tradition. The menu changes seasonally, but the fresh pasta, fried lampredotto, and steak are my favorites.

A welcoming restaurant with quality products.
As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a smile by Gianna, her son Matteo, and his father Domenico.
They seated us in the restaurant and explained their specialties. In addition to the uniqueness of the food, we were also impressed by the kindness and humanity of the owners.
The food was excellent, with generous portions and fast service.
The wishing well inside the restaurant is unique.
We highly recommend this restaurant.
