La Panzanella In Empoli

Welcoming restaurant with helpful staff. The food is very good, except for the surprise braised cheek, which we found very sweet with a strong chocolate note. But otherwise, highly recommended.

I stopped in this little restaurant, attracted by the delicacies on the veranda, a very cute, welcoming and Tuscan-style atmosphere, as was its menu. Antonio the chef delighted us with Tuscan dishes and more, everything was taken care of down to the smallest details and the service was attentive and excellent. I highly recommend it, one of the few times I've eaten better than at home.

A family atmosphere, the owner Antonio is a fantastic guy, wearing a hat on his head and wearing a tee shirt all the way down to his shoulders. The food is simply exquisite, especially the braised cheek with wine and chocolate sauce...

I went to this restaurant about two weeks ago with some friends. The staff was very friendly, but the service was excessively slow. We had good food, except for my dish, which was overly salty (probably a mistake?). The prices weren't high, but they weren't low either. Overall, good.

A true trattoria. A quiet and informal atmosphere, fair prices, and well-cooked food. The service was very courteous and polite. Perhaps the trippaio's cacciucco was missing some of the innards (I didn't find the snout or the lampredotto), but it was excellent. If you're looking for a quiet place in Empoli to enjoy good food and company, I recommend it.

Excellent dishes!! As per Tuscan tradition, we had a great time.

We are three friends from Versilia who were visiting the Christmas markets in Empoli on Sunday by train. We happened upon this trattoria by chance, enticed by the simple Tuscan dishes. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they welcomed us warmly and found us a table. We ate excellently prepared traditional dishes in a simple but warm and clean setting. From appetizer to dessert, everything was delicious, and the price was excellent! We'll definitely be back... thank you.

We found the trattoria by chance as we were passing through. The atmosphere is simple but truly clean and welcoming. The table service was excellent, the waitress was very cheerful and knowledgeable. The food was reasonably priced! The appetizers were good and fresh (you could tell everything was made fresh). The first courses were delicious and traditional. We would have gladly tried the second courses as well, but the portions were truly generous. (Maybe next time 🙂). The entire staff paid great attention to intolerances and allergies.

I went there for a friend's birthday, 8 people in total! We had a wonderful time! The food was excellent, with a selection of locally sourced ingredients; the staff and owner were incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming; the restaurant is beautiful, both indoors and out; the sliced ​​beef with potatoes was phenomenal and excellent value for money. In fact, she treated us wonderfully, and we ate wonderfully! We had two generous appetizers to share, a first course, a second course, a dessert, red wine, coffee, and liqueur, for a total of €35 for 7 people, since the birthday girl didn't have to pay. The owner even made a delicious gluten-free and lactose-free cake for the birthday girl, using fresh ingredients! We'll definitely be back again, either individually or as a couple! Highly recommended!
