Food: When passion for tradition meets talent, the results are evident. All the dishes live up to the "starred" expectations, but the fresh and stuffed pasta dishes definitely stand out... both in their traditional versions and in more innovative or contemporary interpretations.
Wine: 5⭐️ .. When I asked for a pairing with "local" wines, I was completely satisfied with the very interesting products, both alone and paired; the price per glass was reasonable for the location.
Service: precise, discreet, but also accommodating.
Ambience: worthy of the awards, although impossible to compare to other, more flashy locations.
But here, it's the service and, above all, the food that count!

Not just a simple dinner, but a true sensory experience for the eyes and the palate. The refined dishes and the use of the highest-quality ingredients make the meal a unique pleasure. The traditional Piacenza dishes, revisited and interpreted in a more modern style, are unique and unmatched anywhere else, so much so that some are even "registered trademarks" to protect their quality. The various wine pairings recommended by the sommelier are the icing on the cake: each dish pairs with a different wine that represents the natural continuation of the flavor you're savoring. It's fascinating to listen to every detail of the bottle being poured. The setting is visually stunning, with well-spaced tables and large windows offering views of the equally meticulously maintained exterior. The service is top-notch, with explanations of the dishes served, meticulous attention to detail, such as table cleaning, changing cutlery for each course, changing glasses for each wine, and rearranging seats when a guest leaves temporarily. Of course, you can ask for any uneaten food to be taken away. A very welcome detail is the hand-made ravioli with a magnet that is given to each guest. The price is reasonable for what we've just described and truly well spent. In conclusion, you have to visit Palta at least once in your life. Hats off!

Only now, after almost a year, did I realize my review hadn't been published. Google problems.
I'll fix it immediately.
I treated my girlfriend to a la palta lunch for her birthday, and it was one of the best choices I could have made.
We had the "you're in my hands" menu, and every dish was a pleasant discovery and a thrill. We truly enjoyed everything, including the service.
Special mention because they were also kind enough to bring a birthday candle and a dessert with "happy birthday" written on it.
You can really feel the loving hands that prepared everything in the dishes.
I can't wait to return to try new
menus.

Il cuore pulsante di questa magia è Isa Mazzocchi, chef di rara sensibilità e talento, capace di trasformare ingredienti semplici in poesia commestibile. La sua cucina non è mai esibizione fine a sé stessa, ma un atto d’amore verso la terra che la circonda. Attraverso ogni creazione, Isa racconta la Val Tidone, i suoi profumi, le sue stagioni, le sue genti.
