Located in the heart of the city, yet perched on a secluded cliffside between the harbor and Poetto beach, La Paillote is no longer a hidden gem. On the site of a former military base, the owners have created a beautiful haven with a small pebble beach, terrace seating, and an excellent restaurant with a creative menu, though the quality can be inconsistent. It's the perfect spot for a sundowner, and afterwards, you can enjoy cocktails and snacks or a full dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. In the evenings, the place often transforms into a restaurant-club with live music or a DJ. Note: Parking can be limited in the evenings.

Spectacular, very good view of the ocean, a very calm atmosphere and good music, to come and share alone or with friends or family, I recommend it 👍🏼

The location is certainly stunning, but the food could be better. The appetizers are prepared with ingredients that are a bit too diverse and don't quite work together. The first courses are better, even if perhaps a bit too simple. The dessert is the best.

16/01/2026: A wonderful experience. We went to this restaurant with friends and it was a pleasant discovery. We ate the truly top-notch raw and grilled fish. The small wine list is also excellent. We'll be back for the pizza. 🍕 The place was busy, and the wait time was just right for enjoying an evening at the restaurant.
11/01/2026: A great experience on the Latina seafront! The restaurant offers a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a seaside lunch or dinner. The strong point is undoubtedly the quality of the fish: fresh and well-cooked. The pizzeria is also not to be overlooked: well-leavened pizzas, light and cooked to perfection, with quality ingredients and classic and creative combinations. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff always available and smiling. Rosario, the owner, is always available 🤗
