We stumbled upon this place, a bit off the beaten path, by chance. It was a truly delightful discovery: from the outside, the place looks small, but in reality, there are several tables in a lower area, decorated with retro posters and billboards. The dishes are tasty and authentic, and the prices aren't high. The only flaw: perhaps the menu could list the prices of side dishes and drinks in addition to the main courses, so customers can have a clear idea of the final bill. That said, it's a restaurant I recommend.

Just steps from the Duomo, La Pagnotta is a pleasant discovery in the heart of Milan. The Sardinian owner is exceptionally kind: he enthusiastically recommends interesting and never boring wines and cocktails, making every drink an experience.
The aperitivo is carefully curated: a selection of crostini freshly prepared by the owner, a true treat that perfectly complements the drink. The quality is high, without unnecessary frills: a simple, authentic place with a history that resonates.
I will definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone in the area who wants to enjoy a moment of true conviviality, away from the touristy and impersonal places. A place to keep in mind! 🍷✨

Gigi welcomed us with open arms. He personally explained the entire menu, including a complimentary Italian lesson. Each dish was paired with a wine from his own region, tailored to our preferences. Artisanal cuisine with a personal touch. A real breath of fresh air in a commercial city like Milan.

Great little restaurant with a witty owner who gave us many recommendations for wineries to visit. Good pasta dishes and tasty homemade tiramisu. Definitely worth a visit if you want a more local vibe and affordable lunch/dinner.

Gigi (the guy who runs this place) is the friendliest man ever. His food is the best and made fresh. The vibes were just great. He really cares. Everyone dining or having drinks were also super sociable.
