We were looking for a place to eat after a long day of visiting Rome. We got there by chance and we loved the atmosphere. We were the only foreigners, but we felt like family. Overall, we had a good meal and a great experience.

Situato in piena Garbatella. Affettati e formaggi abruzzesi ottimi. Buoni anche i primi classici romani; unica pecca il guanciale un po' troppo scrocchiarello nella carbonara. Personale gentile, prezzi onesti

Good dinner, in the heart of Garbatella. Excellent Abruzzo cured meats and cheeses, served as appetizers. The first courses, classic Roman ones, are also good. The only flaw is perhaps the bacon in the carbonara is a little too crunchy. Friendly and approachable owners. Honest prices

Osteria Romana in every way, from the owner to the food, still honest prices, tasty dishes, we took an appetizer and ate it for two, as a main course two Roman saltimbocca with chicory on the side, water and a half of red wine less than 50 euros. I will return

E' sempre un piacere andare da Paoletto .accolto come un fratello mangiato come a casa ma direi anche mejo e poi se paga Er giusto anche un po' meno...ma la qualità altissima

We spent a weekend in Rome and they encouraged us to go and eat in this beautiful place, very kind and friendly staff, really excellent food. If they were to ask me for a place to go to Rome I would definitely recommend it

A true Roman tavern, according to the decalogue which I promptly photographed. Tripe is good. Maybe it's not chic, but if you want honesty and authenticity, a break from the usual plastic dishes, you have to stop by here.

Trattoria IV Secolo

12/08/2024: Heading towards Lake Vico via Cassia, feeling peckish in my stomach, doing a quick search on the Internet and this tavern comes up. Never was the choice more appropriate... Typical Sardinian restaurant (therefore typical fish-based cuisine), informal but refined environment as well as the sober and professional welcome. We opt for fish meatballs as anticipated and then immediately dive into the first courses: cacio e pepe for me and spaghetti with clams for my wife. Well, I have to say that I haven't eaten such good cacio e pepe in years (for those from Rome it's at the same level as what Felice does in Testaccio and perhaps even better) not to mention the spaghetti with clams done to perfection (and coming from Torvaianica I think I know something about this). In short, a wonderful discovery that I would recommend to everyone in the hope of returning very soon. Fantastic!!!
07/08/2024: In the northern Rome area if you want to eat good fish, BALDO IS A GUARANTEE!! Excellent quality of food, location where you feel at home and friendly and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended
