We went here by accident - we were just passing by when we overheard a guide from a food tour talking about this place. Look, best mozzarella we ever had. Also tried the porchetta and were blown away. We ate 2 porchetta sandwiches, mozzarella di buffala and 100g of another mozzarella and cost us 14€ - a real gem

Appena si entra nel negozio è subito uno stimilo per gli odori presenti. Altro che Ariccia, a Trastevere la porchetta è molto più buona. Grassa e croccante al punto giusta. Quando sto a Trastevere passo sempre da Iacozzilli per farmi un panino. Esperienza mistica che si completa solo quando chiede di mettere "l'olietto" sul pane. Consiglio assolutamente!!!

If I walk all the way here to taste the real verandatta, they have never heard of it here. I don't know who brought this word into the world, but it's just porchetta what they have here. Quite tasty too. In retrospect I think it is a mistranslation of porchetta into English. Porch is the English word for veranda. Lost in translation.

The best sandwich I had in Italy - skip the food tours and just order the porchetta already! The younger guy working here is very friendly and helpful, thanks for all the amazing food!

16/01/2025: A fantastic place for both an aperitif and a dinner. The selection of beers and spirits is really wide and the cocktails are delicious (the shudo and the bloody maria are really special...). The focaccias have many options, including vegetarian ones. The atmosphere is delightful and the staff are always very helpful, when we come with my husband who doesn't speak a word of Italian they are always very kind and patient. In short, a truly special place (we often also meet a beautiful Husky which for me are plus points....)
14/01/2025: A nice selection of Gins, and some excellent focaccias. We had a very pleasant evening

10/01/2025: Because of TikTok recommendations, we wanted to try it out too. But we weren't alone, the queue was correspondingly long (and it was on New Year's Eve). We waited about 1 hour and then ordered 2 Margherita pizzas. One traditional and one with burrata. The one with burrata definitely tastes better because the cheese isn't as strong. The traditional one deserves 3 stars, the one with burrata 5 stars. Therefore a total of 4 stars for the food. We also had a salad. This one was normal. The staff were without exception super nice and very helpful. Definitely 5 stars! Is it a must-go? Probably not, simply because you have to wait about an hour.
