The best porchetta I've ever had. The cod is exquisite. Not to mention the sandwiches and the courtesy and friendliness of the owner Piero and his son Federico. Walking in in the morning is like stepping back in time to an authentic, timeless Trastevere.

You come in and are enveloped by such stimulating aromas 😋. Now my go-to for everything they have: prosciutto, bresaola, the legendary porchetta, cheeses and pizza, especially the famous scrocchia 🤓.

This place is a slice of gastronomy and history wrapped up in a charming, welcoming shop in the heart of Trastevere. I've lived here for 7 years and regularly visit Piero and Federico (part of the Iacozzilli family) to buy the highest quality meat, cheese and wine - their porchetta is unmissable, but don't hesitate to ask for a sandwich to be made in front of you, exactly as you like it (tip: ciascuolo and aubergine/eggplant is a great combo). Go - you won't regret it!

The atmosphere was incredible. We were greeted by Frederico, the last of the family's lineage, which has been in operation for over 100 years. We ate wonderful sandwiches and took home several local products. I highly recommend it to tourists and Italians alike.

We had a fantastic experience at this classic, family-run butcher shop in Rome! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming—we immediately felt at home. They let us taste different cheeses and cured meats until we found exactly what we wanted. The food was spectacular, truly delicious! We're from the US and asked for some recommendations on places to visit: Federico was super kind and helpful. We had a wonderful chat with him—he made our visit (and our trip) truly special. Federico was the best! Thank you so much, Federico! ❤️

Gran lugar con una sensación local! Los bocadillos de porchetta eran increíbles y tenían un precio razonable de 6 € cada uno. Sin duda recomendaría!

18/11/2025: We had dinner at Coaster on Sunday evening. We discovered the place on Facebook. Starting from the moment we arrived, the staff were warmly welcomed, polite, and courteous. The place is beautiful, well-decorated, and tastefully decorated. The food is high-quality and expertly prepared. The pucce and fried fish were very good and plentiful, as was the platter. The drinks were top-notch, both the cocktails, which were very well-made, and the beers. Their beer, Origins, is a very good 7° IPA. Whiskey and other drinks were available. The staff was courteous, helpful, and qualified to recommend the best food/drink pairings. We'll see you again soon. 🔜 Neptune = Coaster. 🔝👏👏👏

20/09/2025: It's located a short distance from the Abbey of San Nilo. The place isn't very large, but there are no architectural barriers. The service is truly efficient, and the food, all homemade, is truly top-notch! There's only one bathroom, which is very clean, large enough, and wheelchair-accessible. The staff is incredibly friendly. Highly recommended, but make sure to book because they're really good.
08/09/2025: Discovered by chance a year ago, excellent value, superb quality, delicious dishes. And, not to be underestimated, they're incredibly sweet. Top!
