The best panini I've ever eaten in my life. Spicy salami with goat cheese. The owner is incredibly nice and polite. The ingredients are of the highest quality and you can feel it. The place is inconspicuous and small but it's really worth stopping there and eating.

I wanted to take a picture of my sandwich but I ate it so quickly. It was very good. Small shop, meat sliced fresher to order.. good prices and quality. Shop owner and workers are very nice

Simply extraordinary. Very good local products and a friendly, welcoming team. I highly recommend it! And the owner is so kind, down-to-earth, and very funny!

Really small place we met by chance while we were walking through the streets of Florence. Friendly and courteous staff. Perhaps the best Schiacciata we ate in Florence. Definitely better than many more famous and renowned places. If you find yourself there, go, it will be worth it.

Very busy sandwich shop and after having sandwich i understand why. Very delicious on bread that was still warm. Long list of sandwiches to pick from and additional fillings to choose from.

Esta es una muy buena opción para un almuerzo barato y sabroso en la zona turística entre la Piazza della Repubblica y el Ponte Vecchio. Los bocadillos se hacen por encargo y los precios son muy razonables.

07/07/2025: very nice atmosphere; fast, friendly service. The food is delicious..
06/07/2025: I had an amazing meal today at Gilo. My waiter, Aden, was very attentive and kind. Started with an Aperol Spritz which was refreshing and had a hint of sweetness. I had the risotto with shrimp and it was delicious and so cheesy. 😋 Then ended my meal with a tiramisu. It was an overall 20/10. I would definitely come back and highly recommend anyone come here for a meals

09/07/2025: Stumbled on this restaurant while looking for a different one…amazing experience. The atmosphere, service, food, music…everything was excellent. The prices were reasonable and food outstanding.
