This is an excellent restaurant, that you won’t want to miss if you’re visiting Matera. I had dinner on the outside terrace, and the show of the Sassi slowing being illuminated at night was breathtaking in itself. The food is delicious and carefully curated, and the service is friendly and efficient.

We stumbled upon it by chance and left more than impressed! The cuisine is extremely refined with excellent ingredients, and the presentation of the dishes is superb. Contemporary cuisine full of flavor. I highly recommend it!

A place cared for in the smallest details and simply magnificent, with a breathtaking view of the Sassi di Matera. The place is suggestive and welcoming, perfect for those looking for an authentic experience in a unique context. The cuisine is truly excellent: very fresh dishes, rich in flavor and prepared with great attention. The staff is extremely kind and attentive, always available with a smile. Highly recommended, an experience that is absolutely worth living!

Alla nostra veneranda età possiamo dire che fin'ora, non avevamo mai mangiato in un Ristorante Gourmet. Beh, questa è stata la prima volta ma, col plus di sentirci come a casa, perché coccolati dai proprietari e dallo Chef. Abbiamo assaggiato pietanze preparate con una tecnica, professionalità, passione ma, sopratutto, QUALITÀ DELLA MATRRIA PRIMA, che mai abbiamo riscontrato altrove. Prezzo più che equilibrato. Se volete andare un pò oltre la 🍕 e ricordare di aver assaporato qualcosa di unico.Andareci.A...wyasi dimenticavo, abbiamo scelto questo Ristorante perché gode di una vista MOZZSFIATO sui Sassi!Che altro dire?Buon appetito!

il locale,molto raccolto e caratteristico scavato nella roccia,si trova nel "Sasso Baresano" di Matera. Arredamento moderno. Accoglienza e servizio di alto livello professionale. Materie prime di alta qualita'. Piatti unici,originali.(complimenti allo Chef) Ottima carta dei vini. Lo consiglio vivamente. Prenotate prima. Antonini Paolo. FOLLETTO Tuderte.

09/07/2025: Excellent food, wine, and service. We had the peperoni cruschi with pecorino canestrato (12 euros), medallions stuffed with provola and eggplant (16 euros), mixed grill of local meats (26 euros), and delicious white wine.
09/07/2025: Nice restaurant with about 20 tables. Quiet, pleasant and the service is at a very high level. The staff speaks very good English. Local dishes are offered. I recommend Medaglioni filled with provola cheese and aubergines, peperoni cruschi with pecorino, grigliata mista di carni del territorio. They sent us a gift... a package of pasta.

23/05/2025: Impeccable!! I enjoyed lots of very well-prepared Italian specialties. The servers were very kind and welcoming, and the restaurant is well-located in the heart of the troglodyte settlements!
22/05/2025: I read some serious reviews about this restaurant here. I can only think that these people were very unlucky. I found the atmosphere on the terrace very pleasant, the service was absolutely kind and courteous, the food very good and the price fair, in line with the prices charged in the region. The experience was so good that I went back the next day. Later I realized that most of the reviews were quite old, from years ago, so I think they are no longer justified. I recommend it.
