It's a pleasure to book at La Nassa
Starting with an appetizer, waiting for the first courses (I recommend choosing a different first course for each reservation; you'll end up saying "this is my favorite," but that's never the case because the choice is impossible), the second courses, both meat and seafood, are already eye-catching. During dinner, pizza is available, and to finish, a delicious dessert...
The entire lunch or dinner is served by friendly, courteous staff. The restaurant is very charming, with an intimate interior and a charming outdoor dining area overlooking the Brindisi port.

Excellent!
A place on the pier.
Dinner began with a seafood appetizer for two: they kept bringing out more. We continued with a mixed Salento fried fish dish for two, accompanied by French fries: generous portions and excellently prepared.
Sparkling rosé house wine + sorbet and coffee. Price: €65! Reasonable for the quality of the ingredients and preparation.
Attentive and very courteous staff.
Beautiful location.
Thank you for everything!
Congratulations!
Goodbye

I ate here a couple of weeks ago. Excellent restaurant, delicious food, excellent recommendations from the waiter. The entire staff was excellent, I'd say. They were professional, courteous, kind, and friendly. These days, when you can eat reasonably well in any restaurant, these are the things that can make the difference.

We had two plates of wonderful tagliolini with lobster, along with a pizza appetizer and an excellent white wine. Excellent service and price, unimaginable for me, a native of Bologna. They made this rainy day wonderful. Thank you.

A seafood and traditional delight!
During my recent visit to La Nassa restaurant in Brindisi, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and creativity of the dishes. The appetizers were a veritable triumph of flavors: incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and a perfect balance of tradition and innovation. Each course elegantly showcased the sea.
The dish that won me over was undoubtedly the mezze maniche with cuttlefish and ricotta cheese: a surprising combination of the delicate fish and the savory cheese, all wrapped in perfectly cooked pasta. A dish that showcases the flavors of the region with simplicity and refinement.
Impeccable service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a sea view that makes the experience even more special. Highly recommended for those seeking an authentic Apulian gastronomic experience!

I land in Brindisi and need to get to Locorotondo: I already know that, late in the evening, there aren't many dining options. They recommend stopping at the port of Brindisi. I arrive and meet a fisherman—a beautiful and authentic scene—who was hauling his nets back into his boat and unpacking the day's catch.
He looks at me and simply says, "Go to La Nassa."
Well, you can read all the reviews you want: Google, Tripadvisor, internal...
but can you imagine a fisherman recommending a place to eat?
Let's go in. A typical, historic restaurant, the kind that needs no introduction. A solid, knowledgeable place that knows exactly what it's doing. Tufa vaults, a warm atmosphere, a sincere welcome.
Let's order.
I'm captivated by a dish I see pass before my eyes: a wood-fired oven-baked crock of long pasta (I know it's not tagliatelle, no offense to the restaurateurs 😄), completely enveloped, soaked, and embraced by seafood. All covered with a "lid" of pizza dough that, once on the plate, becomes the perfect base for a final "scarpetta" (a piece of bread made with breadcrumbs).
The dish is called "La Reginetta": brilliant, delicious, memorable.
Up north, a portion like this would feed three people—and that's perfectly fine.
My companion chooses marinated orecchiette, on a tomato base with grated salted ricotta cheese on top: a clean, regional dish, done just right.
Second course: Salento fried fish. Here, the freshness isn't something you can tell, it's something you can taste. Crispy, dry, authentic.
Special thanks to Vincenza, who served us with great kindness, and to the pizza chef who, with skill and elegance, eavesdrops on my conversation with the waiter. He notices my curiosity about a schiacciata with cherry tomatoes and Taggiasca olives and, without saying anything, brings a sample to the table. Pure class.
Dulcis in fundo: special panettone, reheated in a wood-fired oven, completely transformed and brought back to an authentic, warm, and surprising version.
I come to Brindisi for work, even if it's just for the day.
I have lunch here.
And then I go back to Tuscany.
Always.
