I saw one of Messina's historic restaurants as a child and several years have passed, the food is quite good, yesterday I tasted the pasta with swordfish bottarga which was good, the other dishes were also satisfactory, prices were normal for ganzirri and unlike other places the kitchen was still open even though it was almost midnight. It has closed permanently, update yourself

15/08/2025: We had two incredible meals here during our stay! We read the reviews upon sitting down for our second meal and I couldn’t disagree more with the negative reviews. The staff are hysterical as long as you don’t act like an entitled tourist and the food was delicious
15/08/2025: Thank god we did not read the reviews before getting here! We have been twice during our stay in Taormina. Although it might be a tourist trap, delicious food and great service with waitstaff who are so friendly. Don’t be an entitled tourist and you’ll be OK.
