I'm celebrating my 60th birthday with my sweetheart with a tour of Piedmont. Unfortunately, this restaurant was the most disappointing among the "high-quality" ones. The entrance is rather gritty and spooky. The ambiance is bland and unremarkable in any way. The welcome was not really that great. The waiter was disinterested, rude, and seemed overwhelmed.
For the food: we had the "Water" menu, which is fish.
The first course was a bitter lemonade foam on peanut butter.
The first course was octopus strips on pomegranate ice cream with mint and onion. Quite interesting and creative.
The second course was tagliatelle with octopus slices in a verjus sauce, garnished with two bites of raw and very delicious fish. Unfortunately, the pasta tasted very much like Barilla. They also seemed to have been waiting somewhere for a long time for the sauce. Unfortunately, not a particularly successful pasta dish for Italy.
``` The main course was a slice of fish fried on a hot stone and served on the same stone. A good idea in itself, but then the fish was served on a small 10 x 10 cm plate, which kept slipping off while eating. This was accompanied by a second small plate with a bit of mashed potato that was already cold and a 2 cm long piece of fried spring onion. And unfortunately, the fish was dry.
Then there was an item on the bill that we hadn't ordered and, of course, hadn't eaten. The bill was then corrected without a word of apology.
The champagne was delicious, but it wasn't their fault.

Cena gradevole con una coppia di amici in questo ristorantino nel centro storico di Ivrea.Pochi piatti alla carta e tre menù: ne abbiamo scelti tre a base di pesce e uno a base di carne. Sapori ben bilanciati ,presentazioni classiche. La carta dei vini presenta case poco conosciute,ma il nostro Arneis era di buona qualità .Rapporto qualità/prezzo corretto.
