... a conduzione meravigliosamente familiare una sorpresa per qualità e professionalità, serviti con dovizia di descrizioni per gli ottimi prodotti, top per qualità e trattamento... ...poi all'improvviso musica al piano dal vivo ad opera del capofamiglia, un signore distinto e dalla gradevole serenità, tipica di chi sa cosa sia un'emozione, fa esplodere una sinestesia fra sapori ed emozioni. We went to visit the Rocca Calascio castle on a holiday evening and we thought we would find all the restaurants closed Fantastic discovery!!! The place is family-run, the owner in the room very calmly and professionally explains in detail not only the dishes on the menu but also all the high quality ingredients used in the kitchen with provenances sought after in the most remote villages of Abruzzo (witness that I recognized the cured meats coming from a company that produces them from the birth of the pig until delivery on site from a small village at the foot of the opposite side of the Majella) as well as different types of exquisite cheeses from L'Aquila.. What about the wife in the kitchen? the ricotta and saffron-scented ravioli with simple grated truffle were handcrafted delicate and at the same time tasty in a very balanced way... then we had the Montepulciano braised meat... cooked to perfection! The mascarpone cream with crumbled mille-feuille... the dessert to absolutely try together with the chocolate soft serve! in short, the flavors of each dish were perfectly balanced and the ingredients incredibly fresh and genuine We took the house wine a Montepulciano from a small Abruzzo winery..., for me it is another gem that has nothing to envy to labeled Montepulcianos in bottles For how we were treated, what we ate, excellent value for money. Surely when I return to that area I will stop by them again to eat and I really recommend trying it to those who are looking for the true Flavors of Abruzzo

We went here on a day trip from Rome and it was my favorite part! The food is amazing and the staff are absolutely WONDERFUL!!!! You cannot miss this spot. My 3 year old daughter loved playing the piano with Daniella!

I went to this magnificent restaurant for a birthday and I think it is one of the best restaurants in the world for the view, for the welcome and finally for the magnificent environment created by the owners Not to mention the food, everything was a masterpiece of both flavor and appearance

Siamo arrivati in questo ristorante quasi per caso, ci hanno accolto in modo timido ma accogliente moglie e marito, poi è arrivato un nonnino a portarci il pane che con modo garbato e affettuoso ha iniziato la conversazione. Durante il pasto ci ha intrattenuto con la sua arte, suonando il pianoforte. Cibo selezionato e con sapori decisi e genuini. Parlando con il nonnino, mi sono fatta scappare che era il mio compleanno, concluso il pranzo abbiamo terminato con la canzone"tanti auguri a te" suonata dal vivo e cantata da tutti i commensali.... è stato un po' come stare a casa. Grazie ancora splendida famiglia.

By chance, we discovered this truly delicious restaurant. Delicious food and top quality ingredients…. A special mention to the owners: They were infinitely kind, they welcomed us by playing the piano and at the end of lunch they even helped us fit the snow chains. We will be back!
