Professionalism, quality and courtesy are three adjectives that distinguish this place. We were greeted by very knowledgeable and welcoming staff who provided us with an excellent description of good quality local products. The cold cuts and cheese platters are a mix of local flavors to choose from to discover the riches of our country. Wonderful location with a view of the fortress and the town of Calascio. Prices more than fair for the quality of the food.

Space food. A perfect lasagna. A rosé wine and the friendliness and competence of the "boy". I highly recommend!! The only (very relative) flaw: parking is not available at the venue but there is plenty of it in the town within walking distance.

Friendly welcome, excellent service, dishes with excellent refined products. Excellent experience!

The dishes are really good, from the platter of cured meats and cheeses typical of Abruzzo (which are explained in great detail by the owner when it is served at the table) to the bread, the first courses, the second courses, the kebabs, the side dishes (spectacular red turnips with apple, capers and mayonnaise) to desserts. The elderly father who goes around the tables to bring bread and have a chat is very pleasant and friendly. Often at the end of the evening he also dedicates himself to playing the piano to entertain customers. The restaurant has recently reopened and is completely renovated, with tables both outdoors (when the weather permits) and indoors. Highly recommended.

The best refuge we could find for our children's and ours' hungry bellies. Very friendly staff, we were able to eat until closing time, family atmosphere and good food. Arrosticini not to be missed!! To date, much tastier than those tasted in the more famous places in the surrounding towns. A must stop for anyone leaving after a family trip from the Rocca. To be repeated

Mid-August lunch. You don't have to go far to satisfy your palate! At La Montanara, typical products prepared with care and presented with grace and courtesy by the owners in an exclusive and refined environment! It is highly recommended. We will be back.

Il locale da poco ristrutturato, risulta accogliente e raffinato. Attenzione alla materia prima a km0. Ottimo il vino della casa e i formaggi. Gentilezza , cortesia e qualità.

Scoperto per caso, abbiamo goduto della cordialità dei proprietari, degli ottimi salumi e formaggi selezionatissimi , delle ghiotte lasagne bianche e dei superlativi dolci. Consigliatissimo!!!
